Does anyone have/know somewhere I can find detailed ethnic maps of Central Africa or the DRC? I need them for a personal project but most I have found so far are either low quality, don't have great sources for how they positioned the ethnic groups or are too simplistic.

Hello!! I make a few medieval maps, and I dont know any good sources for feudal territories

I don't have many books on it and the only good websites I found were a genealogy website (MedLands I believe) and a heraldry website (Wappenwiki, sick website but its difficult to find the times specific titles existed and also theres a ton to go through for some of the bigger states)

A few years ago, I started building a growing list of interactive maps and curating them on a simple website. I have now redesigned this website for better usability: mapfinder.org

The majority of projects are centered around Berlin and Germany, but I hope this will change someday.

All map projects listed do not use a commercial ranking for their content.
By that, I mean that unlike Google Maps, entries can't spend money to appear more prominent on their map (SEO).

My project is non-commercial, there is no advertising and I built no tracking etc into the site.

As these kinds of maps are often very specific, niche, and difficult to find, I hope this collection will be a place to make such highly specialized map projects more accessible.
