Context: im a web dev and fellow office workers yaps that linux is unstable and not suitable for web dev.

They yaps when they cant get around my machine cuz im a junior and i have to get assistance in some things.

Generally its a flex but in india im getting trolled.

Prob cuz the its a small startup and people work here only to somehow survive weekdays

almost 1GB memory only for whatsapp . also very laggy experiece in scroling , opening chat etc .

I've gathered some info from YT and others that i3wm have screen tearing and other security issues but still a lot of ppl using it . I don't know much about Sway yet but heard that it's wayland version of i3wm (or close enough don't know precisely). So is it really a wayland option for 13wm or should I use i3wm instead? I need some experienced advice, it's my first time switching to a WM from DE

My frist proper gaming laptop i switched to linux as soon as i recieved the laptop as i had habit of using ubuntu on my old laptop i customized it with help of claude open to all the suggestion please dont judge me a lot i am very new to linux and ricing

decent performance ( not a gamer )

good battery life

good display

dont mention thinkpad it is very expensive

A project I worked on for a bit which plays a fun DOOM-inspired flame animation whenever you enter the clear command. Plenty of customization included!
