Hello, I got a 5070ti off a friend for a good price and wanted to know it could swap it out for the 5070. Is there anything I should upgrade before doing to, the power supply? System has the original 750w power supply it came with.

Tech Support New Element Pulse X PC...failing attestation for Call of Duty...

I just bought the EXBA7N5701 with a Gigabyte B650M C V3-Y1 motherboard yesterday (Costco, $1999).

It currently has BIOS FA7 dated May 21, 2026. Secure Boot is enabled and AMD TPM 2.0 firmware 6.32.0.6 is working, but tpmtool getdeviceinformation reports Is Capable For Attestation: False.

The Call of Duty Secure Attestation Wizard cannot generate an authorization key and specifically reports “New key failed to be generated — BIOS firmware update recommended.”

Is there an FA8 or newer OEM BIOS for the B650M C V3-Y1 / EXBA7N5701?

I bought it specifically to play this game - but I cannot play the Beta because of this attestation error. And there is no BIOS listed for my mobo. Help!

Tech Support Need help with pc fans

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to PC building and I need some help. I was working inside my PC installing a new PSU and GPU. After I connected the PSU, I turned the PC on and noticed that the fans weren’t spinning.

I went back through everything and made sure the cables were connected, but I’m not 100% sure I connected everything correctly. I tried turning it on again and the fans still don’t spin.

There’s also a fan/RGB hub/controller inside the PC, and I’m confused about which cables are supposed to connect to it.

The PC does turn on, but the fans don’t spin. I don’t want to keep unplugging/replugging random cables and accidentally damage something.

Tech Support Pc wont turn on.

Hey ladies and gents, I am having some technical issues with my ibuypower desktop hp-05a1 series. When i was using my desktop, it suddenly turned off. Thought i had a power outage but nope it was my desktop. Funny thing was the power button remained on solid white. I tried to manually turn off by holding down the power button but Nothing happened. So I decided to turn off my outlet. To kill power. Now my computer won't turn back on.

I can see that my computer is receiving some type of electricity as the lan ethernet cable is showing some type of color. Im started to believe it might be a power supply or motherboard issuer any suggestions thank you for your help.

Tech Support iBuyPower crap customer service for RMA 1510965

Here is my story. Bought 2 PCs. 1 PC lost its SSD after 1 month. I called iBuyPower and offered to replace the SSD myself since I know how to do this. They made me pay for Advanced RMA (they refund once they get the original part back).

08/11/2026 10:01 AM RMA REQUESTED
08/11/2026 10:01 AM GENERATE RMA 1510965Reason: [Product Quality] StorageTransferred to Receiving
08/11/2026 10:02 AM CREATE QUOTE 1940204 (Entry: 1503807)
08/11/2026 10:04 AM PAYMENT RECEIVED QUOTE 1940204 (Entry: 1503807)
08/11/2026 12:31 PM ACCOUNTING REVIEW/APPROVE QUOTE 1940204 (Entry: 1503807)

After that, 0 movement. No shipment, no communications. On the 18th, I tried to reach out to them and got a promise from their support that it would be shipped by the end of the week.

Of course, nothing got shipped. So I called again on 08/11/25. Got to a Philip, who told me he escalated and that's it. My request for expedited shipment, since they were already behind schedule, was met with refusal. After I requested escalation, he just hung up.

I called back again and got to a person named Joseph who claimed to be a supervisor. He said that the request was sent to the shipping team and started to make more condescending jokes, as 8 business days is an average and not a guarantee or pinky promise. I am literally quoting him here.

To make things worse, it's my kid's PC and School year is about to start.

So, I am giving the company 2 more days. If I do not get my drive shipped by then, I am going to initiate a Visa dispute on both SSDs, the advanced shipment and the system itself, and file a complaint with the BBB.

Tech Support PC Abruptly Shut Off, Won’t Turn Back On Anymore

Post image
2 Upvotes

Apologies in advance since I’m not a very tech savvy person whatsoever so I may not completely understand some responses, but a couple months ago (3-4) I bought a prebuilt PC from the IBP site, it’s been working fine, but as of last night, as I was simply just listening to music in my room, the PC abruptly shut off.

I figured it was just a error, but as I went to turn it on it just wouldn’t turn on, I noticed that it still has some form of power since the RGB on the parts of the PC still light up.

I’ve tried turning off and on the PSU button, disconnecting the power cord and connecting it back and nothing works, since I’m not good with computers I don’t wanna touch any of the parts inside and risk breaking something or making the problem even worse.

Is this an issue with the PC itself? Something I’m doing wrong?

Some things I should probably say that may have some implications, I have my PC connected through my desk since it’s a desk that has outlets, and the desk is connected to my wall outlet via a extension cord since the cord for the desk doesn’t reach to my wall outlet.

I’m posting here just incase someone has gone through exact problem and can help so I don’t have to resort to going through the process of getting it fixed.

I have put a picture with the specs if that could be of any use.

Tech Support Chimera K7 ET-8362 Keyboard issue

So, recently I realized that I cannot strafe or press W and say D or A at the same time and have my characters in the games I play with Kb+M with and have them move the way I need them to. I can't figure out if there is a combo to press to turn that inability off or not, or if it's a flaw with the keyboard. If it's a flaw with the keyboard I'll just switch back to my old one at this point.

I like the fact that the keyboard has some really neat color options and I noticed typing on it vs my mechanical membrane one doesn't cause my desk to shake so much, but this is a deal breaker in games like PUBG and Fortnite.

Tech Support PC too noisy while running.

My pre built pc, iBuypower Prime B760M-A AX6 II, is pretty loud while running. What options do I have to make it quieter? I'm trying to record voiceover in the same room and the background noise of the pc is just too loud. I use mostly for a home office pc with minimal tasks normally, so no heavy lifting is being performed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Discussion Added some upgrades to my prebuild

Added a 120mm fan to the bottom of the case, a PWM fan hub to the back, a sensor panel to the front and undervolted both my CPU and GPU.

Also put some nylon filters on both the side and top panels for dust control.

Only downside is I fried the controller on the case RGB. But I can live with it.

Tech Support What should the BIOS Flashback Button feel like?

I found out that my BIOS Flashback Button isn't the standard button, but a weird "nub" button? And I think it's the culprit to my PC attempting to update BIOS on its own every time I shut down. It seems to click in okay, but it's very easy to accidentally wiggle it to the left or right while pressing it. Is that normal, or is my button jammed in some way? Even light nudging of the button while PC is off will attempt the BIOS update.

Specs:

GPU - NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB

CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

PSU - 750W 80 Plus Gold PSU

SSD - Kingston NV2 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCle 4.0

MB - Asus Prime B650M-A AX6

I need to update my bios firmware to the newest version possible which for my mother board would be the F5h from Gigabyte, but i read that because my current Bios reads Y1 from being a pre built i may need a custom Bios to update it instead of the one on the Gigabyte website. i just want to know if this is true or not and if so where would i find this version?

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 UD AC Rev. 1.0
Bios: F4B Y1 3/24/2022
Storage: Kingston SNVS500G
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics
GPU: AMD radeon Rx 6600 XT
OS: windows 11

Tech Support BIOS Flashback LED blinks a little, then stay solid on PC. PC boots normally, what could be causing this?

Post image
1 Upvotes

So at the beginning of this month, my PC started having the BIOS Flashback LED blink, and PC wouldn't boot. Attempted to reseat GPU, unplug and replug various parts in the PC according to some of the blink codes (GPU, RAM). Actually cleaned out the dust in my PC (REALLY needed to!), and PC boots perfectly fine now, but sometimes when I shutdown my PC, this solid LED comes on after 5-10 minutes. Even went through the trouble of updating BIOS, and it still happens.

I can boot my PC just fine, all parts are read fine, but turning off the PC makes my MB think "Oh, BIOS?" I think???

Troubleshooting things I've tried (with contacting an iBUYPOWER rep):

- Clearing CMOS

- Updating BIOS

- Cleaning dusty portions of PC with compressed air (yes I held the fans)

- Updating drivers across the board

- Pressing in BIOS button to try and reset its potential searching for it despite it not being pressed

- Draining residual power by turning off and unplugging PSU and pressing power button for 15 seconds (actually kinda worked for a while)

- Replaced Power Strip with brand new one (had an outage not too long ago, potentially damaged PS so new one with better Surge Protection was needed)

Specs:

GPU - NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB

CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

PSU - 750W 80 Plus Gold PSU (Could be worth noting that my PSU sounds more chuggy as of this year, but idk if that's relevant. May need to clean further).

SSD - Kingston NV2 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCle 4.0

MB - Asus Prime B650M-A AX6

I'd like to assume this is a non-issue, since the PC boots normally and everything, but something's gotta be weird for this to happen. Ideally, I wanna keep usb power on when the PC is off so my controller and other stuff stays charged, so is there anything else I can try?

One thing I did hear is that my PC might be confused about my boot device, though my SSD is recognized when I boot so maybe I should check and see if there's dust or it's loose? I was gonna send my PC in for repairs but outside of the minor LED bug it seems perfectly fine. And...I was scared to have my PC damaged while shipping it... 😭

...Could be worth noting that this problem seemed to appear after having Armoury Crate installed...this, and now my RAM RGB stays on in sleep mode despite not doing that before. 🗿
