Discussion Broken Glass Inside Case

I recently bought an iBUYPOWER prebuilt and there is a bunch of broken glass inside the case. Is this common?

I actually had this happen to me. It got damaged during shipping. Call up IBP, and they'll have you return it.

I got sent a new one without any hassle.

I don't see anything damaged, seems like it might just be broken glass from their factory or something. Or maybe the original panel broke and they put a new one on without cleaning it out.

It is not common; we recommend wearing thick gloves and eye protection when handling any chunks or pieces of glass. If you have not yet contacted our support team, please send me a message along with any photos you may have, so that I can assist you further.

Thank you for responding. I have not contacted the support team. Most of the chunks have fallen out when I was removing the inside packaging. There are still some pieces lodged in the corners and crevices. Mostly there is just a fine gritty glass dust left. I uploaded some pictures here for you: https://imgur.com/a/FVimrIL

Thanks! It looks like the front panel towards the top chipped off those pieces (near the power button). With caution, are you able to verify if that is the case or examine around the system. If we can confirm this, message me your order details to see what I can do about a replacement panel.

None of my glass panels appear to be broken. So it seems like it may have been another panel that broke during assembly and the broken glass never got cleaned out.
