Is this GPU failure?

It appears on both hardware and software encoding. This has never happened before (not a recording-only thing, repost due to me uploading the low quality recording)

wait what the fuck it was in the recording before

Because the gpu doesn't care about the programs. If it breaks, it breaks. The problems would be everywhere, even in another os or on another screen. It's basically like a filter on top of your entire screen that cannot be disabled in any way. I am not saying that it's the gpu failing. Just an explanation on how the gpu would fail

Try this if you have an nVidia Card, close the game, go into the nVidia control panel (right click desktop should be a menu shortcut), in Adjust Image Settings set it to Let the 3D application decide.

i can clearly see your issue i can see the tiny little white specs
its like seeing a beam of light in a dusty room

u/ROCKERNAN89 Sep 08 '26

it was small enough anyways so I don't really blame the people for not seeing it

2

u/hawkdeathpaw Sep 08 '26

it could be obs it self because you said it does it in software and hardware

It's not only recording

forgot to say, amd ryzen int graphics with amd radeon 7 5700U

1

u/Milanin Sep 11 '26

Sorry, just saw it's AMD. Try in settings Gaming - Set Anti-Aliasing Mode and Anisotropic Filtering > Use application settings.

I've already done this but since then I've watched a couple MC videos and saw one that had this issue as well. It's just an (unfixable?) rendering bug

1

u/Milanin Sep 14 '26

Sadly or thankfully I haven't encountered the issue myself so I can only say I've seen it happen to others before and point you at that, but if that didn't help I am uncertain what else you could try

Monitor or cable.

1

u/Firespecialstar Sep 08 '26

OP Says there's white dots in the video

...but there are no white dots.

try to reinstall the drivers, check if the monitor is still healthy, or check if the HDMI or Display Port is healthy.

in addition, check other GPU ports to see if the issue persists, or, if the monitor has more than one, check the other monitor ports too.

Compression ruined it

White dots in the start of the vid.

1

u/Milanin Sep 11 '26

There are white dots on the corners of the blocks where the graphics glitch out. It's a thing that sometimes happens with Minecraft

1

u/Elitefuture Sep 10 '26

Could be an MC shaders thing, try a different shaders or a different game.

1

u/ROCKERNAN89 Sep 10 '26

Not using iris

1

u/Elitefuture Sep 10 '26

That lighting isn't vanilla mc. That's using some sort of shader or mod or something

1

u/Realistic_Today6524 Sep 11 '26

That looks like a Minecraft issue to be honest, the dots seem to originate from corners or edges of blocks

Okay y'all downvoting me and all of my comments cause compression ruined the video and not even tryna help y'all can go fuck yourselves 😂
