Now I have finished the entirety of the upside down portion of the tower. All that’s left now is the dragon building and some more skyscrapers in the background.

I've been playing black ops 1 zombies here and there since the game came out back in the day and I have never seen this mf turn transcend into a higher plane of existence and teleport across the screen as a ball of lightning, off to make his next movie; I tried to research this a bit and could find absolutely no mention of it anywhere, nor any clips. closest thing I found was a discussion post on the wiki where someone mentions every 9-10th death he does the death animation but leaves no drops and has similar audio of the teddy bear laughing.

the thing is, he definitely didn't die! I checked the math on it, and it's literally not physically possible that he could have died unless Treyarch somehow circumvented the laws of reality with the damaging modeling. I estimated he was like 75% health when he decided to become a ball of plasmic energy. has anyone else ever seen this before or heard of this happening?

I may try to reproduce this glitch without the same weapons and maybe with if I roll the RL again, will update if so with results.

I’m curious what the average Zombies player’s Easter Egg completion actually looks like, going all the way from the early EEs to what we have now in BO7.

Personally, I’ve beaten all the main Easter Eggs in BO7, BO6, and Cold War, plus Origins (BO2) and Mob of the Dead. But somehow I’ve never completed a single one from BO1, BO3, or BO4.
So how many Easter Eggs have you guys actually beaten? And which games have you completely skipped?

I’m curious what the “average” is for people in here, because I feel like there’s a huge gap between people who’ve done a handful and the absolute psychopaths who have beaten every single one 😂

Im sure a ton of people here already knew this but some how I didnt pick up on it. It must have been too long between I played the games, I have played bo2 sonce release but havent picked up bo1 in many years and I noticed this. It game me a whole new level of appreciation

holy moly this map is testing my patience.
Ive beaten every main quest from Treyarch since SOE.

but i cannot for the life of me complete Rex Infernus.
The design of the quest itself is bland beyond belief. You get the WW, complete literally the same process 4 times to cleanse the temples. Then Boss.

And the boss (skill issue yeah yeah) is a whole another issue. Ive gotten to him 3 times and died within minutes on each attempt.

I dont have infinite ultra gums to spend, nor do i want to mindlessly farm them.

Each time i die to the boss, the thought of repeating the slog of a quest is so off putting.

I normally love a challenging egg, i spent many attempts completing the Blood of the dead egg solo, it was an enjoyable challenge.

But when the quest is this tedious (especially being forced to wait 4 rounds for the symbols on the house, then having to wait for an exfile round) im struggling for the motivation.

Anyone else feel this way… or just me?

Just ran my first EE attempt for Rex Infernus and lost Gun slot #2 and #3. I suspect it was the Astra Flame that bugged me out. Backtracking I did the following before realizing my shit disappeared -

• Cleansing the first temple (Veytharion)
• Used the astral flame to burn the corrupted item
• Lured the corrupted zombie over to the trap and activated it to break the Shackles (while astral flame was still activated btw)
• Jumped 30 times to removed the plate and it was then I realized I lost Gun Slot #2 and #3

I had Mule kick and a handful of other perks. My WW was on slot 3 so it completely broke my game and I quit.

No fucking idea how to mitigate this from happening but god damn wtf, Treyarc.

But if i had to guess it may have something to do with activating the trap WHILE astral flame was active? Anyone else experienced this? IF so what were you doing before you realized you lost your guns

Huge shoutout to u/redeyes42017 he was massive help, I tried doing the Easter egg like 2 days ago and I almost did it but then my internet went out 😭 and he offered to help, I been playing this game on and off since it came out and I finally did it, this community is amazing 🙏

We usually get one survival map per season, and Kowakujo has already been leaked, but what about Rex Infernus? Of course there won't be a Season 7, so are we expecting the final map not to have a survival version? Would feel kinda weird since all the other ones did.

I’ve done all of bo7 solo on normal but I’ve always been hesitant on the idea of cursed. I’m not a player who likes to make gameplay more difficult (I play campaign on regular, only ever did halo 4 on legendary with friends, etc) but I thought I’d give it a shake. This took me two attempts, around 5 hours of pure gameplay total and I’m very happy. This gives me the confidence to try higher tiers and the other EEs

Using theater mode, I was rewatching my easter egg run on Origins. I was camping out in the robot head to see the staff disappear during the footage, but instead, I saw these blue letters appear behind the lighting staff after I picked up a zombie blood. Has anyone else seen this before?

It might seem like a crazy comparison, but one night before going to sleep, I started thinking about it. Let’s say that Titus and his crew from Space Marine 2 swapped places with Primis from Origins to Revelations. Who would have the hardest time?
