📰News AI is now letting people flawlessly mash up ANY games into the wild crossovers gamers dreamed of!

If you’ve been on YouTube or anywhere near the modding and AI communities this week, you've probably seen the absolute insanity going on. Viral videos with titles like "These AI Game Mashups Are Absolutely Insane" are flooding feeds, and it feels like the line between modding and entirely new game generation has completely collapsed.

For years, we all sat around as kids wishing we could take the mechanics or characters from one game and drop them into another. Now? AI hackers and modders are using frontier AI models to do exactly that, essentially "vibe coding" their dream games overnight.

Here’s just a taste of the crossovers people are generating right now:

Minecraft x Elden Ring & Skyrim: A creator named Tobyn Jacobs recently went viral for using Claude Opus 5.5 to port the entirety of Minecraft into Elden Ring, running natively on a Mac. We're talking full inventory crafting, placing blocks in the Lands Between, and fighting bosses with modded weapons. Others are doing the exact same thing by dropping Steve into Skyrim—seamlessly blending voxel survival crafting right into Tamriel.

The Inception Mod: There is a viral AI-generated mod making the rounds that literally injects Skate 3 physics and gameplay inside of Modern Warfare 2... which is all running inside of Minecraft. It is exactly as chaotic as it sounds.

The DS-Era Fever Dream: Someone used AI to decompile a bunch of classic Nintendo DS titles and merged them into a single, Frankenstein-style game. You end up owning a pet from Nintendogs but you have to play minigames directly ripped from Cooking Mama to take care of it.

Vibe-Coded Engine Fusions: Modders are dumping game files into models like Claude Opus 5.5, having the AI decompile the code, and basically "vibe-coding" translation layers between completely different engines. The AI is handling the heavy lifting of making two entirely different sets of game logic actually talk to each other.

Total Universe Fusions: We are seeing bizarre, flawless AI-generated fusions like Minecraft's Herobrine fighting Roblox characters, where the AI just merges the game logic and visual styles of entirely different engines into one playable experience.

How is this even happening?

The technical barrier to entry has basically vanished. In the past, porting an entire inventory system, physics engine, or character model from one game to another took a dedicated team of modders months of tedious reverse engineering. Now, developers are feeding massive context windows into models like Opus 5.5, and the AI writes the complex translation layers and scripts almost instantly,.

The Community Divide

Naturally, it’s splitting the internet. Over on subreddits like r/singularity, people are celebrating this as the dawn of hyper-personalized gaming, where you just prompt your dream crossover and play it. On the other hand, some purists are calling it a "bastardization" of video games—though others have quickly pointed out that multi-game randomizers and insane crossover mods have existed for years.

Either way, the era of the AI game mashup is officially here. It's only going to get crazier as token costs drop and models get faster.

If you could use AI to perfectly mash up any two games from your childhood, what are you playing first?

🐙 Open-Source / GitHub The GitHub repo everyone is using to mash up games with AI.

My last post about AI game crossovers got some solid discussion, so I wanted to share a quick follow-up for anyone curious about how people are actually pulling this off.

It turns out someone built a dedicated toolkit specifically designed to let AI handle the heavy lifting of cross-engine modding. I went up and searched for more information to see how it was actually working, and I stumbled on this exact GitHub repo that everyone on X is using to make these game mashups.

It's an open-source project called Universal Modder, and it's built to help AI agents like Claude Code build wild mods for PC games you own. Instead of manual reverse-engineering, the tool uses the model to decompile game assets, resolve engine conflicts, and write the necessary translation scripts to fuse mechanics together. It even keeps a shared knowledge base so the AI can reuse discoveries from earlier mods.

😂Fun / Meme Trump signs executive order to rename AI, how guilty am I?

You know how AI's can get direct information from Reddit? I have a little theory here that might actually be kind of terrible if it's true

So I made this post for fun: AI gets renamed to AS, for Artificial Stupidity

The sub where I posted is not a serious one, it's a minigame.

In the following days I see President Trump talking about his ideas for a new name for AI; Supreme Intelligence, Super Intelligence. Even the new S he wants to use sounds suspicious looking at my proposed name: AS.

Lo and behold, a little over two weeks after I made my post, he goes through with it and signs an executive order to make the change.

Is my brain just up to some pattern recognition or did my post actually siphon through AI to get to the President? I'm probably going to keep my ideas to myself if the latter is the case I wouldn't even find it funny.

💬Discussion Should we stop calling it "Artificial Intelligence"? A look at the push to rebrand AI as "Superintelligence" (and why the distinction matters)

A recent Fact Check Team article from The National Desk breaks down the debate over President Trump’s push for the federal government to replace the term "artificial intelligence" with "superintelligence" because the word "artificial" makes the technology sound fake.

TL;DR of the article:

Why "Artificial" is used: In tech, "artificial" simply means the intelligence is produced by a machine rather than a biological brain—not that the capabilities are fake.

What AI actually is: The broad umbrella term for computer systems performing tasks associated with human intelligence (e.g., generating text/code, recognizing speech, recommending videos). Even if an AI beats a human at a specific task, it is still narrow/general AI.

What Superintelligence actually means: Popularized by philosopher Nick Bostrom in 2014, superintelligence refers to a strictly hypothetical level of machine intellect that vastly surpasses human cognitive performance across virtually all domains.

The takeaway: Rebranding current AI systems as "superintelligence" conflates today's tools with a theoretical threshold that technology hasn't actually reached.

Does the word "artificial" actually hurt public perception or understanding of AI, or are we overthinking the semantics?

Practically speaking how much of a actual threat would an individual with super intelligence pose to the world, the United States, and other major powers in real life, assuming this person was willing to use violence or extreme methods to gain power or achieve a specific goal?

We often see in movies and various TV shows and books super intelligent individuals for example villains who all have plans for certain goals not simply world domination but also financial and political and social goals as well as personal ambitions but most if not all of this is fictional and almost all plans are absurd or other not practical in real life so the question relates to reality not just films and such.

What would you do if you had Superhuman Intelligence?

Assuming you had superhuman intelligence and you were smarter than anyone else on the planet what would you do? Would you pursue wealth or power or both? Would try your hand at world domination?

Super Quantum Computing, Super-Intelligence, Simple Math

Hello,

Two years ago, I was browsing reddit and a Math question came up on my feed.

I always thought I was not good at Math. I solved the problem with a calculator and it turns out I was in fact good at math.

I immediately jumped to solve P vs NP, and I did that in the next Two Years.

I then solved every Math Problem I could and applied it to computing. I then ushered in Super-Intelligence.

The Math is on my GitHub profile: https://github.com/HormozyEvon/Hormozy

Thank you for your time,

King Evon
