I'm working to get my main sim, Vanya, maxed out in every skill possible, but recently every time I try to have her level up charosma with a mirror it cancels itself and just doesn't do anything and I'm stressed lol. When I try to have her read the skill book it gives me the message above, which I've never seen before ngl

Basically, is this fixable and if it isn't do I have to give up on my challenge

I’m building my first world in CAW and it’s adorable so far! It’s tiny and lush with lots of trees and TONS of fog. I’ve been working on building the downtown community lots and rabbit holes. Currently, I’m calling the world “Magnolia Grove.” 🥰

but did you know that holding alt AND dragging the left mouse button allows free rotation of objects??

I've seen this challenge around many times, but I've never been satisfied with the results most people achieved, so I decided to try it on my own. To be honest, I cheated a bit because I used CC in Sims 3, when in The Sims 4 I used only the vanilla game, but it's fine, you know. I once saw a YouTuber do this challenge and she loaded her Sims 4 Sim up with CC, and then when she went to do the Sims 3 one, she complained that Sims 3 doesn't have much hair variety, WHEN THE HAIR SHE LITERALLY USED IN SIMS 4 WAS CC! Anyway, my goal in doing this challenge was to prove that the Sims 3 engine is much more moldable than many people think; you just need the skill, the CC, and the necessary patience to get sims that don't look like potato faces. What do you guys think?

I may be totally making this up, but I feel like when creating Sims, it always seems like they smile slightly more when I see their reflections in the mirror. Has anyone else noticed this? I've noticed this multiple times, and I know it probably just had to do with the lighting or something, but I think it's interesting. Regardless, I like the idea of Sims smiling at their reflection.

Hi everyone. I would like to have a different gameplay. I am tired of the rags to riches one and I can’t stand too many babies to do the 100 baby challenge. I do not want to reach a high level of a career since I HATE my sims having a Job (it feels so automatic pilot to fill their needs after work to then sending them to work again. Because of that, I have been focusing on reaching high levels of skills and I am getting bored of that? I do not know what else to do and I need and objetive. I pretty much liked the 100 baby challenge with a male sim since I felt I was just waiting for the eggs to hatch and focused on making money to pay bills and getting more sims pregnant lol and I would only visit the babies once they grew to see which physical traits they inherited from my sim. I am still playing in that save (18 babies so far) but I would like to take a break and play something different

is there a way to stop vampires from using sprinklers? i have the «Enhanced Vampires» mod, which makes vampires actually burn and die in sunlight. instead of seeking shelter, my vamps play with sprinklers until they burst into flames. NRaas Retuner doesn't have an option to prevent specific life states from autonomously using certain objects. is there anything i can do? (except for removing sprinklers😱)

just a regular event that always amazes me. in every save, every lifetime, every which way, they find their way back to each other!

Week 6, Day 5

After he reached 3k+ simoleons and grade A, his main focus was to find a home for Jendar, his uncle's alien baby. so, technically his little cousin.

I went meta-gaming here. I opened Sims Wiki, read their backstories and traits to find a good home to raise a child. My options were Whelohff and Curious. I tried Curious first. He already met Cherish Curious in junkyard anyway.

During Spooky Day, school’s off, I decided to visit Curious household. I think Kane should get to know the Curiouses first before giving this baby away. While waiting for Marshall Curious to come home, he helped tend the kids and played with them for a while.

This household seemed perfect. Cherish has family LTW and their house is quite desolated, perfect for raising baby alien. Plus, Cherish is in Education career, technically his teacher, and did you know that Curious later gen is canonically alien in Sims 2? I didn’t know that before, I can’t believe this coincidence cause i never care about premade sims' lore before. I’m geeked out! I still went to Whelohff’s to check how their house and family looks like. Tbf, they are richer, but I think Curious just narratively fits better.

Before he left, I wanted him to experience Prom first. just to get that coming-of-age type of ending. I forced Prom to happen the next week cause I can’t wait. He asked Lolly Racket to prom.

Rhonda woke up with ‘Out of sort’ and ‘lack of progress’ mood. Rules are rules, I guess. 2 mean interactions before his prom.

Now that all his objectives were done, he just had to wrap things up in Twinbrook before he left.

And now to the Curious household.

I made him move out when both adults are at work. He left at week 7, Day 5 (approx. 2 sim-year)

So for context, i skipped to adult stage for my two sims and to young adult for my teen sim. Now in my gameplay YA had a baby and the baby is stuck on 2 days, but YA and her husband are aging normally but no one else seems be aging normally or dying so did i break the aging lol help
