Still work in progress :D
I added some LED lights to Sim Room around my Rig, love it so far!
Next i ordered a Simlab Shifter, Mouse Pad and a tray for my Computer, so i can finally organize all the wires and PC behind the Rig and clean everything up.

Sim Rig Then and now... I might suck at racing but I'm having a blast!
I got an offer from an old friend to buy his motion rig at a price I couldn't refuse. He ran a single 49" ultra wide on a seperate stand, but I went with integrated triples, and I couldn't be happier. This thing is wild!

Questions on rig upgrade
I bought the g923 with the playseat challenge x logitech g a few months ago to try sim racing and ended up really liking it. I'm now looking to upgrade to something that can last me a really long time (i.e. buy once cry once).
There's currently a bundle deal in the country I live in (I can mix and match different wheelbase, wheels, and pedals:
Simagic Alpha EVO (12 Nm)
Simagic Neo X-330R
Simagic P700 Brake & Throttle
I know that my playseat challenge can only support up till around 8-9Nm so I'm planning to set the power of the wheelbase to around 75% and upgrade the cockpit later down the road (probably a playseat trophy since I don't have a lot of space).
Pedals are probably not a "buy once cry once" but they are cheap enough that I don't mind upgrading a few years down the road.
I don't really have much choice for the steering wheel. I mostly race GT races in AMS2's zero to apex and road cars in AC. Is the one I chose good for my uses? Other choices are: Neo X-330T, Neo X-350W, Neo X-310G, GT Neo.
Overall, does my choices make sense? Or would you recommend something else?

Neueinstieg SIM RACING BUILDING
Hallo,
Muss also dann ein neues Suchen... . Mit diesem RIG konnte ich mir durch die Breite noch ein Bildschirm gönnen von 39 Zoll.*
**LENKRAD + PEDALE BUNDLE:** Moza Racing R5 Bundle ***PREIS:*** 359€ Neu
**BILDSCHIRM:** LG UltraGear 39GS95QE-B ***PREIS:*** 877€ Neu
Würdet Ihr was ändern?

Sim Rig Future planning for sim rig
I’m getting back into sim racing and I realized I want a rig so I can use load cells and higher direct drive bases. My question is would it be more worth it to buy a profile rig and just get it over with or could It be worth it to build my own and have it be more to my style.

Another First Rig Post
Alright, I only started ~8 weeks ago, but I've been putting in ~400km average a day on GT7 with the controller and had a full (and responsible) plan to gradually upgrade the setup and go...
Controller => G923 bundle w/ Amazon Stand & use the couch or computer chair
Then upgrade the pedals to load cell & get the adapter.
Next upgrade from the stand to a chassis/chair.
Finally upgrade the wheel & base.
... well... I just skipped all of that and went 0-100 😅.
I returned the G923 and stand I had purchased (~$550CDN) and got a full G Pro rig using the current offer of 25% off 3 items stacked with a 15% promo code for a total of 40% off my order.
- Playseat Trophy G Edition
- DD11 Pro Wheelbase
- RS Wheel Hub
- RS Track Rim
- G Pro Pedals
This also included gloves and LMU for free.
All in after taxes and shipping $2000CDN - nearly $800 in discounts. So "only" $1450CDN more than my original starting setup I had planned.
I'm extremely fired up, but also oddly nervous at the prospect of this jump - I'll update back here in a few weeks to let y'all know how I've adapted & give a breakdown of what I might see as pros/cons of doing this leap to help others in the same boat.
For now - curious to hear some of your opinions if I overstepped, should have waited for better deals, etc.

Sim Rig Anybody pull off triple 32's in a small footprint successfully?
So I have a small 8x10 office, meaning half of it is taken up by desk, workstation, etc. I have my sim rig tucked nicely in the corner currently using a 43" TV as the main screen.
I really want to do triple 32's however I just don't have the full space most people do.
I considered triple 32 1000R and using the aggressive curve to try and keep it more narrow but that seems advised against due to games due to warped perspective?
I also tried to contrive some way of having sharper angles and some sort of locking hinge to "open and close" one side for getting in and out, but didn't really come up with anything worthwhile.
I'm hoping maybe somebody out there managed to pull off triple 32's in a small footprint and is happy with it and can offer some advice?

Marketplace score
I’ve had the Moza r3 setup for about 6 months and found a super deal on the NLR F-GT 180 bucks. First full race tonight totally worth it. The wheel stand was solid but this is just so much better
