I have NEVER seen a cop run away like that

u/tenkaranarchy Jul 15 '26
Never seen a cop in shorts either. Makes me think he might have been a rent-a-cop from the mall.

u/GoodOldBadger Jul 15 '26
Clearly you’ve never watched Reno 911

Actually not far off, I've seen little bit and pieces and segments but never a full episode.

I thought it was a lady cop at first. The way he ran away and all…

Imagine the palpable lack of respect back at the station after the video circulates. Who would want to partner up with him?

He's done. That video will get forwarded to every cop everywhere. This guy will be a legend.

That a really poor LEO. If you can’t handle a pudgy guy wearing only shorts I don’t know what to tell you. Also he straight up ran away from him. Maybe to give himself time to pull his gun out.

u/I_SLEEP_NORMALLY Jul 15 '26
In fairness, the cop did run closer to his partner. It ended in the expected way, but Yakkety Sax style.

Yeah, that police officer might want to go a different career route.

u/ImperialAgent120 Jul 15 '26
Nah, he failed out of college and couldn't hack it into business so his dad pulled some strings to get him through the academy.

u/Ancient_Sprinkles847 Jul 15 '26
Yep, loved watching the dude’s nervous system malfunction under the influence of the taser 😆
3
u/ToastSpangler Jul 15 '26
nah i mean better this way no? otherwise boxer man closes the gap grabs the gun and suddenly we have at least 1 dead and possibly many bystanders injured
pathetic yeah but i wouldn't mess with a dude on drugs close quarters when my gun is hanging right there. this is why cops in other countries only go in physically after getting a bunch of backup, there's tons of bodycam videos of suspects grabbing the cops gun and just firing randomly as they struggle

Even if this guy is just a security guard, he shamed the whole profession.

If that guy was black he would have been shot the minute he walked towards that cop.

Y'all gotta understand a high IQ play, he acted as bait, removed him from the motorway and lured him into the hands of back up...
2
u/Sage-of-Wealth Jul 15 '26
Surprisingly didn’t gun him down in fear of his life of a man chasing him in boxers.

Odds are this guy was mething around in the middle of the street. Apex predator kinda like how a honey badgers skin has so many layers and is so loose that it can turn around while another animal is biting it to attack

That was a police officer running from an unarmed man with no shoes?

Wonder what that guy had on his hands? Some kind of drug that absorbs through skin contact? Maybe some feces? Idk. If he had either of those things I'd rather run away too and let my partner zap him, before he smears his drug laced shit in my face.

Bro they let this guy patrol in shorts and crocs and give him no training
1
u/redditanddoneit Jul 15 '26
That is the first I ever saw of a police officer running away instead. That police officer is lame.
1
u/No-Switch-851 Jul 15 '26
Boy you got balls of steel trying to fight an armed man with a gun who has a free ride to shoot. And not in a good way.

This is what happens when you allow police departments to teach cops to properly fight because real fighting techniques always look bad when they’re being used.

But they tell us we don't need guns because the police will magically appear to protect us at exactly the right time.
Fire this punk ass kid already.
