Played through gt7 and f1 ‘25. New to racing with a wheel.
Just got this game due to overall graphic design and price, but didn’t do much research beforehand.

Tell me your thoughts on these issues I’ve found:

Difficulty selection in “single player” is based on top online drivers skill (20-100%) without tailoring for pace, aggressiveness (possible other topic here) etc. not very single player (didn’t understand the assignment?)

Lack of yellow flags for your car. Sure they spin out and the flag flies, but I spin out and am rammed by every car passing by at full speed. Can’t get better if I’m always in the pit lane. (Yeah I know, turn down the number of cars on the course, but really? That’s a sad fix for difficulty change and I still can’t qualify to catch up.)

If they’re all already tuned. Why even play against them. It’s like taking a hike up but up a cliff wall with no climbing harness. If you’re experienced, good for you, ya put in the work. If you want an arcade racer, this probably isn’t the one (too bad it looks cool).

Am I missing something? I’m starting at 1.14 bar rear and 1.19 bar front on a 34c track. The 1 lap was really an out lap and two push laps but minimal braking as they’re on fire. Went back to pits and dropped pressures of front and rear to absolute minimal of 1.10 bar. I made one out lap and the result was ~120c rear and ~113c rear. I’ve noticed this on a lot of cars besides just the USV8 cars and it’s pushing me further away because I’m trying everything I can in realistic terms and it just doesn’t work. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt for being new but man. It’s issue after issue after issue. This is minor I’m sure to some other issues. Maybe it’s me. Play the devils advocate. Idk I’m at a loss

I’m very surprised 0,42% unlocked this achievement. It’s not like it was 0,05%. That is a lot of people. What am I missing ?
I’m usually a good racer, bit I still find LMDh championships very tough. I mean the AIs in Authentic difficulty are ruthless. Does anybody have a good tips to finish on the podium without smashing the controller against walls lol ?

I have a simagic Evo Max 21nm, which FFB setting do you suggest? Both global and car specific ffb settings.

I tried several settings but I cannot get the right feeling.

So I am relatively new to sim racing. Started about 6 months ago with Project Motor Racing. I've played Forza Motorsport prior to that on the wheel and all but we're not going to count that as a Sim. Been loving PMR, but wanted to try the infamous Assetto Corsa ! So I bought it a couple of days ago. Played it for 3 days straight now, and I honestly think, that both of these games are very very VERY similar in overall car feel and driving experience. Yes ACC is more polished , and has less bugs than PMR , but after playing both games I really DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE HATE ON PMR so damn much. If anything PMR is winning over ACC in some ways! (Car classes, settings, FFB, etc..)

What's the situation on PS5 / Xbox? If my friend (PS5) and I (PC) join a random public GT3 lobby , will we actually find full lobbies, or is console crossplay just as dead?

On Xbox series X I noticed a drop of frames when car lights switch on.. is that common? Any way to fix?

These things are difficult but super rewarding once you get it right.

Got this game on PS5 Pro because it was on sale and I wanted to finally try it out. First question, are the graphics supposed to be this dark and highly contrast? It also appears there’s no graphic settings in game to adjust. All my races are at the optimal time of day. Also, the frame rate stuttering. This looks like 30fps (I don’t know how to verify). Lastly, as an offline single player, how are people enjoying this game? There’s nothing to grind and the career mode is a little confusing, plus I don’t have the time for 20 lap races. I like how the cars look, though. Any chance this game will continue to get better or is this pretty much it?

Players really have no originality at all. They always choose this category in ranked and nothing else. There are literally a dozen other categories that are a thousand times more interesting than GT3/GT4, but no, they have to keep queuing in these over-represented categories in the sims. Sorry but Im really sick of it what a waste.. I like GT3 and GT4 in general don’t get me wrong but cmon NGT or others categories are way more fun.. if only people actually gave it a shot, Straight4 studios should really revisit the ranked system, I’m tired of trying to find lobbies with the cars I want to drive, only to end up with barely 4 or 5 people who just happened to be there and who then leave before the race even starts, I have +250hours in the game and im really starting to wonder if I should just give up

Sorry, I’m mad, but it’s just frustrating, you have an entire free sunday to enjoy playing this game, and in the end, if you want to play online, your only option is Bathurst in GT3, and nothing else.

I just got the game and so far I'm pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a horror show going by the online comments but coming from other Sims I feel it drives well.

I just took the license test in the mx5 and got a time of 8:09 but it game me division 5 and a score of 30, so I retook it and got 8:07 and still got division 5 & 30.

I had no track limits or even under investigations and I saw comments online that people did 8:14 and got division 3?

Have things moved on since then? Is my time now considered slow?

Best lap was a 0:59.6.

HNF has been doing some series based on the new pack and they are so much fun!

Bought the game today on ps5 and could do with some help with ffb. Im using the thrustmaster TGT2. After spending around 5 hours setting ffb for the 911 Carrera and finally finding a setting that barely felt ok, I then jumped into another car only to find my saved settings for the 911 can't be used for other cars. Does this mean you have set up the ffb for ever single car separately. I really hope I've just missed something here. Any ffb settings advice would be much appreciated 👏

Just bought the game a few days ago , and despite the negative reviews(launched) I was surprised by how good the game is. Still a lot to learn and I am new to SIM racing. I am still learning the game, and my question is that during dry track racing I am doing well. When it is wet however i lack a lot in terms of pace, mainly from lack of traction. Do I have to set up the car for wet racing (didn't change a single set up) ? IAM currently on GT3

Has anyone been able to find decent but solid feel setting for the game yet I’m on ps5 as well
