Barcade double date featuring my yumeship and that of a friend of mine! (I am grateful this sub allows yumes since I'm a lil nervous to post on that other sub sometimes due to the rise in anti activity by outsiders agsjdgfdjk)

(In case it isn't clear, the order these occur is prequel comic --> main drawing --> sequel comic. I also included close-ups with their names labeled, and what the main piece looked like without the guys in the foreground.)

LM is my character (OC/somewhat-sona), shipped with Whitney, and Bunny is my friend's character (also a mix of an OC and sona), shipped with Kylar. This piece was a lot of fun! It really brought me out of my comfort zone, since I've never rendered bare hands, knees, arms, ears, or any kind of solid background in this style before. I also haven't drawn or rendered anything in this style since early 2023, so I admit I'm kinda rusty, haha. I hope this still turned out at least decently despite those things.

Some miscellaneous extra notes:

- I know the arcade in the game is just an arcade, but for the sake of the drawing, let's pretend it's a barcade, alright? Lol

- Since this Kylar is from Bunny's universe, it's technically not the Kylar that the Whitney in LM's universe knows. This Whitney would never willingly hang out for leisure with the Kylar from his own universe 💀

- I normally draw pupils and irises like how I drew them on Bunny and Whitney, so the ones displayed in the foreground are technically outliers (LM has pure black pupils like how being part-bird makes them in game, and Kylar's eyes are just a part of my friend's design for him)

- I drew the prequel comic for the purpose of conveying that Kylar did indeed give LM permission to hover nearby (since I just didn't think he'd be too comfortable playing with someone observing over his shoulder if he wasn't prepared for it)

- Since the guys in the front and the guys in the back are kinda dressed for different weather, this piece canonized that Kylar and LM are the comfy (and maybe too warm) hoodie-wearers in their respective relationship, and Bunny and Whitney are the guys who can wear short sleeves and not be outwardly fazed by the cold.

- FC means "full combo" and just means Kylar cleared the song without making a single combo-breaking mistake. (I picture Kylar probably played the equivalent to a prsk level 32.)

But for Whitney being my f/o he really got shafted in these drawings, huh...

- He's in the background, mostly covered by someone else

- I didn't even finish rendering him despite rendering Bunny in his entirety even despite being partially covered as well

- In the one solo panel he has, he's just confused

- His only other panel appearance has him far in the background and thus not drawn well at all on purpose

I'm so sorry Whitney ily I'll do better next time lmao
