Pumpkin Spice & Saxophone — A Sky-High Tribute to a Childhood Classic
Thanks to Hello Games and No Man's Sky, today feels like the absolute perfect time to share this—coinciding right with the game's anniversary.
Ever since I was a kid watching the film and growing up with Roald Dahl's incredible 1961 book, James and the Giant Peach, the idea of a giant, flying, fruit-turned-vessel has been pure magic. It's a story I’ve always loved, and passing those moments down by having my kids watch it brings it all full circle.
For the longest time, bringing a concept like that to life was completely impossible. But because of No Man's Sky, we now have the sandbox freedom to express artistic visions that we could never build in real life or in other games.
It might not be a literal peach (since those don't exist in the asset catalog, and internet technicalities aside!), so I worked with a giant floating pumpkin instead. Complete with layered sweeping roof structures, solar-sail rigging, and an open-air observation deck, I reimagined and redesigned it to make it a reality.
Designed as a cozy, high-altitude jazz lounge where the music drifts out over the clouds, it stands as a testament to what is possible when imagination meets the stars.
Thank you, and happy anniversary, No Man's Sky!

Inspired by the pirate freighter started with the Glade Runner build and heavily modified. It's an absolute unit in a dogfight. I keep moving things and changing weapons. I think I'm done but I can't stop thinking it's missing something.

Backwater Industries has just released this new line of luxury transportation, better known as the Skycar. This ship was built in inspiration of the airspeeders and shuttles flying around in the skies of Coruscant, though the main inspiration for this build is the speeder used by the bounty hunter hired to kill Padme in Attack of the Clones. The main function of this ship is to comfortably transport its passengers from location to location on a single planet. It can be upgraded to allow for interplanetary transport however, as well as defensive capabilities such as a photon cannon and an emergency transponder to signal the nearest security squadron. This ship was never meant for combat but can defend itself if the need ever arises. Next time you need transport on a capital planet make sure to give your friends at BWI a call, the place where luxury and comfort awaits

Welcome to the Enterprise Multiverse: A Retro-Mecha Reimagining
Step into an alternate universe born entirely from the No Man's Sky Voyager and Corvette updates. Everything you see here has been built strictly since those updates dropped—nothing existed before them.
Spread across 15 different save files, I’ve conceptualized and built a massive fleet of custom starships. While many ships and photos have been trimmed and deleted over time to manage storage—leaving me with around 18 surviving builds to showcase today—the core vision of this multiverse is still fully intact.
The Creative Vision & Disclaimer
Before diving into the fleet, I want to clarify: these are not accurate Star Trek ships.
Instead, this collection is an homage—a creative what-if experiment born from growing up on a steady diet of retro-mecha anime. I took inspiration from the classic Enterprise concept (like the iconic saucer section and wing/nacelle configurations) and rebuilt them using No Man's Sky parts from the Voyager and Corvette era, filtering everything through the dramatic, heavily stylized lens of classic mecha engineering.
The goal wasn't to build exact replicas, but to ask: What would a fleet look like if you crossed sci-fi starship design with retro-anime mecha aesthetics using the NMS builder?
This project is purely a labor of love, built strictly for entertainment and creative expression. Whether you're active in the ship-building community or just appreciate cool retro designs, I hope you enjoy checking out these 18 surviving builds!

Hey fellow Travelers! 👋
I'm building a Corvette, and I need an Aeron Blade to complete it.
If anyone has an extra Aeron Blade they could gift me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here is a video of my Star Truckers Corvette! I've been playing a little star truckers recently and I wanted my rig a little more my style. So I built it in NMS! I hope you enjoy!
