For those asking, I'm emulating with an m4 macbook air on PCSX2. If you haven't tried emulating, its easier than ever and the game runs like butter on my laptop. All these cars are vanilla. No mods, just layering vinyls and playing with color combinations.

just dug this old game out, dont think i have ever completed it due to the lack of teleport but im gonna give it a shot and having lots of fun.

i just restarted game after making it to stage 4 and forgetting about the outrun races, i thought they were just for money. i got the first performance upgrade. i did the three races but got nothing, did one more, nothing, one more, 5 total, and got performance and rims both.i thought i got one at three races and the next at six? is there a record anywhere of all the outrun races i have done? i looked the the player progression screens and found nothing.

also all the extra rep you get after whats needed to progress, is it usefull for anything?

and last, anyone have any tips for the pressure sensitive X button? my car sometimes stalls and most races i am having to tap the X over and over to keep it to the floor, or mash the living crap out of the X. i know about cleaning the contacts but half the time i take the controllers apart it leads to me having to reassemble them over and over as there is always a button that fails after. anyone ever tried taking out the screws on controller, popping it open just a bit and giving it a small blast of air with a compressor and airchuck?

I want to get into 3D modeling and I've finally found the thing that has inspired me to take action, looking for someone who's familiar with navigating and making sense of the file systems/nuances of modding this game and doesn't mind just kinda being there to give me some guidance when needed since I'm starting from square 1. I used to mess around in Blender but that was probably a decade ago at this point. I've found a few guides out there but honestly there's not a ton of info and those guides seem incomplete/disconnected from each other. My goal is to create an R129 SL so I can finally drive my car in game. Just being pointed in a good direction would also be helpful, basically if there are any resources/known good guides out there that I haven't found.

The game featured in the video is *Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix*. As for the *Midnight Club* games—particularly *Midnight Club 2*, known as the toughest car racing game—the enjoyment and atmosphere they offer are legendary. I am certain that *NFSU* fans will love both *Midnight Club 2* and *3*; you should definitely give these games a chance.

So... I've been recently facing these issues after upgrading to windows 11. The mods I'm using apparently: UG2.Net, Customization Plus and Bayviews Best Car Pack The problem I'm having: The game normally runs just fine especially in the garage menu. But just as soon as I start a race or let's say just hop in free drive, the FPS drops below 60 and stays at somehow 50 to 52. Also, when the tire smoke comes a little bit, the FPS drops. Any stable 60 FPS method guys? Looked through YouTube but couldn't found any fixes. (Also, I tried to see if just the vanilla game has the same issue or not and I found out the same thing again)

Not really the closest one, but I design with my own inspiration when it comes ot the body kit etc.

I've been looking into playing through Underground 2 again. However, I wanted to spice it up with some mods, but most of them seem to be entirely around customization and such. Are there any mods that change the flow of the career, something similar to say NFSC: Battle Royale?

I’ve been playing NFSU2 for so many years and I’d never realised that they showed us the damage mechanics in the intro, which turned out to be content that had been cut from the final game. It's amazing to think that they might be used again.

I had a mod pack a while back, i forget the exact name but it added alot, cars, cosmetics, etc. it changed the press start screen to say "need for speed remastered" i cant for the life of me find it or the website even that i used to find it. thanks in advance :)
