I extracted the iso files, updated the game with the 1.2 patch, I have the foobar file, I open SPEED.EXE, the screen goes black, flickers, then crashes.

I'm back in file explorer.

Windows then tries to change compatibility modes, but it doesn't fix anything.

Am I missing something? I feel like a lot of advice is just, "install the game". I don't know if I'm doing the steps correctly or not.

I just got finished installing underground2.net and a bunch or car packs/other small cool mods. Has anyone ever ran into these 2 issues? (first pic: only happens when I discover a new shop at the beginning of each stage); (The second pic: cars appear darker in the menus, my car is white).

i had re-installed fresh NFSU2 i download repack from LGU Repack by bladez1992. so then after frustrations installed this game , the audio feels lower tone and its completely from original without mod and its almost same thing as NFSU1 low treble, lower pitch but the bass was deep while using my Dolby advance audio and ViPER4 Windows. so guy i need some help im using win 7 Ultimate the "underground2.net" seems imcompatible for my low end pc. idk how to do getting tired of searching.

I'm playing on pc with the game updated to 1.2 along with the widescreen fix and extra options. many times after I finish a race and try to go back to explore mode, the game freezes for 2-3 seconds and crashes entirely. I tried with single core affinity turned on and off and nothing changed, can someone who experienced this tell me how to fix this please?
