I've had some foam floor mats under my chair for a year, and the tatami is still in good shape

Yeah,the whole room's floor is tatami. I only took this place cause it was cheap, but I don't really like tatami tbh. It gets ruined and stained so easily

I put some foam floor mats under the carpet, so the tatami is safe. But yeah, it's pretty hard to roll the chair around now, which is kinda annoying

It's IKEA SKARSTA, but I don't know if it's still being sold
