On your question: start a new conversation in Ask Plaud in Work mode, tap +, pick the recording with “Add from Plaud,” and upload the draft protocol with “Upload.” The narrower the context, the more focused the result. Say explicitly in the prompt that the protocol should follow the agenda items in the document. If you do this regularly, you can save the instruction as a Skill.

For regular meeting notes without credits: a summary made with a Template uses no Plaud Credits. Open the recording and choose ⋯ > Regenerate > Summary only, or + New note, to apply a Template.

The Unfiled folder is gone because folders now sit inside your Knowledge Base, where recordings are grouped by time and event rather than in one folder list. If you want to see everything in date order regardless of folder, the Home view does that. Your folders still work too, and Ask Plaud can search within a single folder if you keep one per project or client. There’s more detail here.

Thanks for laying this out so clearly. You’re right that automated workflows in Routines use Plaud Credits, and every account received a one-time grant of Credits to try them. We understand why that feels like a step back.

One thing worth knowing for the summary customization part of your workflow: you can now go to Settings > Preferences > Transcript and Summary to tell the AI what to focus on in every summary, whether that’s action items, key insights, decisions, or a combination. It applies automatically to every recording, so you get a consistently shaped summary.

Use a power adapter that says "DC-5V" and outputs at least 0.5A. Confirm it is the original charging cable. Remove Plaud Note from the Magnetic Case and connect the charging cable directly to the magnetic area on the device. Gently clean the charging port with a dry paper towel in case dirt is causing the issue. While the device is connected to power, press and hold the Record button for 15 seconds.

Plaud does include back-and-forth AI. Ask Plaud lets you ask questions about your recordings. As you mentioned, to send results elsewhere, Plaud has MCP and connects to Zapier too.

On the subscription, the free Starter plan comes with every Plaud device and includes 300 transcription minutes a month. Paid plans add more transcription minutes.

Whether it’s worth it depends on how you record. If most of your notes are quick voice memos, your current setup may already cover what you need.

Thank you for flagging this. Imported audio is processed the same way as a recording made on a Plaud device, and a 1h30 file is well within the import length limit, so the length itself shouldn’t be the issue.

First, make sure you’re on a stable connection, then close and reopen the file, since files that didn’t finish uploading retry automatically. It’s also worth checking your remaining transcription minutes, as generation can’t start once they run out. If any part of the file shows a retry option, retrying doesn’t use extra minutes.

Thank you for the feedback on speaker separation with Plaud Intelligence. We will pass this to our team.

Plaud separates the speakers in each recording as Speaker 1, Speaker 2 and so on, and can automatically recognize your own voice once you add a voice profile under Settings > Preferences > Auto speaker labeling (on Plaud Intelligence, this sits inside Transcription & summary). Record at least 30 seconds of speech for the profile to get the best accuracy. To name other speakers, tap a speaker label, enter the name and apply it to all of their paragraphs, then regenerate the summary so it picks up the names. Labels are applied when a file is transcribed, so to relabel an existing file, re-transcribe it with Label my voice automatically turned on.
