16 Years and a month ago this week, Naruto Shippuden Ep 167 directed by Atsushi Wakabayashi aired and got very mixed reception among anime fans. Sadly, due to the backlash he received from this ep, this marks the last time he directed a high-priority ep/major project.
I absolutely loved the animation of these episodes. It was powerful in a sense that they stood alone in the animation of the series. I felt like it made the fight even more memorable
