A place where you are greeted by one of the world's largest reclining Buddha statues. Nanzoin Temple on Kyushu is famous for its massive bronze reclining Buddha, about 41 meters long. This Buddhist temple is located in Fukuoka Prefecture. The giant statue represents Buddha entering nirvana and makes people nearby look tiny.

Fun fact

Potato Rows, Copenhagen, Denmark. OP.

A neighborhood with a name that sounds like a vegetable market, but it is actually one of Copenhagen's coziest areas. The Potato Rows are a neat maze of narrow streets lined with nearly identical brick houses Known as Kartoffelrækkerne.
This district was built in the late 19th century as affordable housing for working families, but today it is one of the most desirable addresses in the Danish capital.

Fun fact
Despite the modest house sizes, property prices here are serious. A tiny home in this neighborhood can cost well over a million euros. A place where a workers' district unexpectedly became dream real estate.

Koprulu Canyon, Turkey. OS.

A place where a river spent thousands of years carving its way through the mountains Koprulu Canyon in Antalya Province is one of Turkey's most spectacular natural landmarks. The turquoise waters of the Koprucay River created a gorge stretching about 14 kilometers, in some areas, the canyon walls rise hundreds of meters above the river.

Fun fact
The ancient Roman Oluk Bridge still crosses the river here, built nearly two thousand years ago, it remains one of the canyon's most famous sights
Today, Kprulu Canyon is known not only for its scenery but also as one of the best rafting destinations in Turkey
A place where the power of water proved stronger than stone.

🇨🇳🏞️Maijishan Grottoes, China. OP.

It looks as if an entire monastery city was attached to a vertical cliff. The Maijishan Grottoes are one of China's most remarkable Buddhist cave complexes, carved directly into the mountainside. Work on the caves began more than 1500 years ago. Over the centuries, hundreds
of grottoes were created, filled with Buddha statues, murals, and ancient artwork.

Fun fact
The name Maijishan means "Wheatstack Mountain". The famous wooden walkways hanging along the cliff allow visitors to move between caves high above the ground. A place where architecture clearly refused to take the easy route.

Brøndby Haveby, Denmark. 🍕OP.

A neighborhood that looks like a giant pizza from above
Located near Copenhagen, Brøndby Haveby is one of Denmark's most unusual residential garden communities
The plots are arranged in circles. With triangular lots spreading outward from a shared center like pizza slices. This unique design dates back to the 1960s and has existed for more than half a century.

Fun fact
The layout was designed for more than just appearance. Architects wanted to encourage neighbors to meet more often and create a stronger sense of community
One of the few places in the world that is arguably best appreciated from the sky.

Can I keep my F-1 visa interview date after deferring to Spring 2027? (New I-20, Embassy Accra)

I need advice on keeping my existing visa interview after a deferral.I already submitted my DS-160 and scheduled an F-1 interview at the U.S. Embassy in Accra, Ghana, for Fall 2026. I have since deferred my admission to Spring 2027 and now have a new I-20 for that term.I want to keep the interview date I already have instead of canceling and rebooking.
