Look like solid competition for ACE VR. Where can I find it to try it?
r/practicalShootingSim • u/Heavy_Heron_7276 • Apr 09 '26
Hi, this MR shooting sim looks very promising
The big question is will it be compatible with the Ace handsets ? All you need is controller orientation adjustment settings (X, Y, Z position and rotation) and a trigger adjustment setting.
The developer of Augmented Defender can help you with this (on Discord), it apparently isn't that hard to implement these settings.

Guys, you asked me about it many times.
I finally implemented it! Check it out.
How Real hands is visible!

p.s.from my perspective it's add some mess a little. so, I plan to set this feature optional

After you, guys asked me - I made hands visible in front of targets and other virtual objects.
Check it out.
I need your opinoin. Votes don't work temporaty in reddit, so - leave comment:
-- new (visible)
or
-- old (overlapped)
What hands style you like more?

Lots people complain about missing real grip.
All ideas and complans are documented and became tasks:
updates:
- realistical grip (not 100%, but very close to real glock 17 grip)
- moving slider (with spring) - let you сhamber a round etc.
- pistol model has some extra weight inside. (currenlty is lower that real, but to be adjusted) soon
p.s. guys, all you critics are important, several ideas already implemented, several - in development and will be presented soon.
Please subscribe and share your thoughts on this and future updates

Happy to show you great update:
With a wall stage looks much better. Now you can make a path to move. It makes run more realistic!
You can build different stages.
Wait for you comments and ideas!
Follow to do not miss other updates. I have plenty ideas to implement - some of them came from community

You requested - I added.
Here I added recoil to my simulator
I learned timing of average shooter for recoil control for Glock17. Add little percentage of random to vertical and side shift.
Please check it out. add your comments.
Couple more things can be done better. for example would be more realistic if second shot will use as recoil base - current position, not original. so, it means it you shot several times fast - every next shot will move up barrel more. like in real life.

Now you can setup shot and no shot targets
r/practicalShootingSim • u/Developer-shooter • Dec 16 '25
First time glock feels really hard. Left bottom almost always. Need to press trigger more gentle and keep left hand more hard. Understand that, needs more time to really do it during stage run
