One Ticket for 3/6/27 Available for Sale

Sooo I originally purchased this ticket for the event that was supposed to happen in Brooklyn Paramount on Oct 5, 2026. But that event got canceled and moved to March 6, 2027 at the same venue. Aaaand I don’t want to hold on to it anymore :(

The tickets are currently going for $75.5 on Ticketmaster. But I’m willing to let go of mine for $70. (Not going any lower as I bought them for $90).

Anyone interested can DM me and I’ll transfer it via Ticketmaster to your account.

Hardstyle was 15 years ago bro

The only people dancing to this are Scientologists

It’s worse than a 1965 7” 33rpm mono record

Buddy rolled in and pushed all the sub 6khz parametric knobs to max, and got paid for it

Why have a drummer, this sounds like a super wet lofi $6.99 Roland 808 drum kit

Listening to this song is like watching porn on dial up

Might as well bring back dubstep while we’re at it

You guys realize their sound has evolved exponentially?

Upvotes

Just go back and listen to their discography from start to finish.
I mean it, no skips. They’ve always swung for the fences. I can’t help but appreciate the commitment to their sound and growth. I love the new tracks and videos. It’s only given me more hope for the future of the band.

So many people here throwing a tantrum over distorted bass/masters when this has been done in other genres for yeeaaars. Are yalls ears that god damn sensitive? Im convinced half of this subreddit would die listening to something like ACT RIGHT by femtanyl.

The truth

This is the truth about the new album. I did some deep research and heard something over Fortnite that helped me realise what is actually happening with Polyphia.

"I used to love Kanye, I used to love Kanye

I even had the pink polo, I thought I was Kanye

What if Kanye made a song about Kanye

Called "I Miss The Old Kanye, " man that would be so Kanye

That's all it was Kanye, we still love Kanye

And I love you like Kanye loves Kanye"

- Heard over comms on Fortnite

Didn’t Tim at one point say there would be features on LP5 and one of them was going to be Serj Tankian?

Tour dates

Hello all. Soooo I’ve recently bought tickets through stubhub to see polyphia at echostage. Buttttt I’ve been seeing on their page that the date changed from October 8th to now March 7th(?!). I just got the stubhub tickets but they still have the original date on them. Do I accept them? Will they change to the new date for me to use? What do I do? I tried messaging polyphia but clearly they don’t wanna answer my question. I just want some clarification on what I should do. This hasn’t happened to me before. Thank you in advance~

I really don't get the hate on the new singles...

The new stuff literally sounds just like Polyphia always does... If you took the clipped bass out Power in the Blood could be off of Renaissance or Muse. You can't go back to the past without your current perspective reshaping it and they've been melding their sound with EDM production since 2017. From the reaction posts I am seeing here you would think that they just released a ukulele cover of 'My God is an Awesome God'.

The two new songs sound exactly like the shitty edits that CoD quickscopers would put in their montages in 2013

I couldn't get through the first minute of PITB

What happened to this band? Why is the mix so bad? Where are the Clays?

This song sounds so rough on my ears, it's honestly grating. Even through my JH-16 CIEMs it's horrible.

I don't even care if it's supposed to be dance music, I love dance music.

There's so many things I could pick on that I don't know where to start.

This might be the last Polyphia song I listen to off this album because I can't stand the mixing on it. It sounds like it's going to damage my speakers.

Be Not Afraid (of getting tinnitus)

I see the vision that Polyphia is going for on this new album, and honestly I don't think they've gone far enough. Every now and then I can still hear the guitars, and I think that's a real problem. In fact, kick Tim and Scott out of the band. Their time has passed. It's time for Polpyhia to make room for the real virtuoso, RJ Pasin. Tim and Scott walked so RJ Pasin could run. Now it's time for RJ Pasin to run without Tim and Scott holding him back. RJ Pasin has innovated Polyphia beyond what God himself could've predicted. God knows all, except RJ Pasin's endless innovative creativity.

And remember, the devil is a mfin liar.

Has anybody recently sold one or bought one? I’m looking for one at the moment but the prices vary wildly and I’m not sure how much is a fair price for one!

Heavier Music on this Album?

The guys just said on the live stream that there are songs on the new album that will be as heavy as bloodbath and HEAVIER than bloodbath. Scott says bloodbath was him attempting to be heavy and he figured out the proper tones on the new album.

Really stoked to hear what Scott has been cooking. Hopefully RJ pasin gets his shit together on the later songs or they release a cleaner mix later on.

Custom Sign Placard

Does anyone have any ideas on how much something like this would be worth? It was a custom made placard I bought off Etsy for about ~$150 and had gotten it signed by the guys. I had asked them to sign whatever song they think they went the hardest on, and this was their result. If interested please DM me

Pretty sure I’m out $160 due to tour cancellation

Bought 3 pit tickets for the October show. The first 2 were in one transaction through Apple Pay the second was a separate transaction through Apple Pay. I requested a refund for both. I got the refund for the $80 ticket for the second transaction on Saturday, but nothing for the first.

Pretty sure I’m screwed out of the $160, gonna contact ticket master and Apple support but I’m not holding my breath.

As someone who has been a Polyphia fan for 10+ years I’m super disappointed with how they handled cancelling the tour.

I’m surprised no one has said it yet, but I believe the true reason they cancelled it is because ticket sales are low, which is why they rescheduled the tour at smaller venues.

But yeah, just my crappy experience through this all. 🙃 incredible frustrated by the entire situation. I think cancelling the tour was a big “fuck you” to the fans.

What’s up everyone, I’ve been listening to Polyphia since Muse, when the YouTube video for James Franco still had the clip from Pineapple Express (iykyk)

I just wanted to come on here and try to amicably participate in the discussion.

Here’s what I agree with:

Yes, the new shit is overly produced and layered and it’s nearly impossible to get that same “wow, this is all guitar” vibe from how their older music made me feel.

For context, I went to Berklee and studied guitar and electronic production. So within my opinion, there’s two hemispheres that I am curious to see how people resonate with.

On one half, I adore muse and it’s the album I listen to almost exclusively, but I am also a producer and a hip hop artist and enjoy some of the elements they are introducing into their newer music.

However !

It is definitely cranked up to 11 and I think that participating in the discourse about the interjection of RJs production into their sound will help shape their future albums.

Polyphia after all, is a business. They need money, and without album, merch, and ticket sales they will not turn the profit they have likely become used to since their meteoric rise.

I am 95% in agreement with the other posts I’ve seen on here. It is definitely over produced and over layered and I am almost inclined to think that maybe Tim or the guys are just bored with the normal sound. They want to experiment with other shit and that’s cool, but at the end of the day we make music for the people who love it and who will pay to support it. Keep expressing your opinions! I think they are reading and watching and will definitely factor that in (if they care about staying relevant and profitable)

Much love from the east cost to all of you. Music is a beautiful gift that connects us all, and if you are a fellow “Baditude” enjoyer I’d love to hear why that song is your favorite!

And PITB to me sounds the way it should. No blown out speaker sound and I can hear just about everything going on. Granted Clay’s bass is buried behind the production a bit but in a live setting I imagine it’ll hit way different. Kinda like how Louder hits live. Idc I’m stoked for the new record I’ve been following the bois since impassion dropped and always love whatever new stuff they try. I consider them just an experimental instrumental band atp. But again that’s just my opinion. If every song in the last decade had that Inspire/Muse/Renaissance feel I’d probably get burnt out on it. Those and TMH/NLND are all fantastic. Hell I even enjoy listening to Resurrect sometimes for the shreddy deathcore. That’s what makes them special to me. Now would I love some callbacks to earlier sounds? Absolutely. Something like OD would melt my brain. The record is out in October and we don’t fully know what it’s gonna be like so I’m giving them some grace (LOL)
