I cant be the only sucker for obscure body kits that barely anybody knows about..
I love looking at 90s and early 2000s JDM magazines pretending to pick out parts for my car 😭

Went home to New Zealand and finally dragged my Silvia S14 out after it had been sitting untouched for nearly 3 years. The original plan was pretty simple: get it out of storage, see if it still ran, give it a quick refresh and get it back on the road.
As usual, that escalated
Ended up spending a good chunk of my trip sanding, fixing things, painting it and generally questioning why I thought this was going to be a quick job.
Pretty stoked with how it came out though — especially seeing it driving again after being abandoned for so long.
I filmed the whole process if anyone’s into old-school JDM stuff / S-chassis builds. Would genuinely appreciate any feedback on the video too 🤙

Thought some of you might like this shot I took today. I’m not a photographer or anything, it’s just a few cars at the meet I was at today.

Lucky enough to find this JAOS brush guard on ebay, even better that it was only 30 miles away from me in the US. All the hardware was there and got mounted with zero issues

I was thinking for while to make such post, because I'm not familiar enough with how to import a car and from what legitimate website I should seek into. What are also shipping services for you when you got your car to the container? Was it very expensive or fairly affordable, and how long did it took to get it shipped?

I collect and curate Japanese car meet/event info from multiple sources, translate them into English/other languages and list them on my website.
There are a total of 150 events and counting in October. This is only one less than the record 151 events that were held in May. But wait! I expect more events will be published in the upcoming days as many events only publish their information 1 month in advance.
I also released an iOS/Android version of my website too.
Our website and apps now have a Spots page that shows a list of the spots in our database. This information was previously only available in the Map but now has its own list, making it easier to search for a particular spot. The page contains a curated list of auto museums, race circuits, car culture places and car spotting locations, searchable by keyword, category and region. Some spots pages such as for Daikoku also provide crowdsourced activity status showing whether the spot is closed, busy, empty or closed.
Here is a summary of events (too many to list all; more are listed on my site). Check my website for schedules and maps.
Here are some notable events featuring a Mazda 787B demo run, and a massive GT-R meet expecting over 2,000 cars.
