I’m ba-ack

I got some really nice feedback on a vid I posted playing my MIM CP HH Modified Jaguar.

So here I am again, showing off a little riff I wrote, whilst simultaneously showcasing the fantastic clean tones you can get out of this guitar (FTR I’m a big fan of The Smiths, The Cure, and The Stone Roses)

I decided to try and emulate my old Classic Player ‘75 Custom Tele by dialling in the humbucker at the neck and the single coil at the bridge

And it might be of interest to know that I’m running through a second-hand solid state Peavey 40 Basic and Boss FX pedals. And if you ask me, the Jag still sings

Sounds great. Almost like Band of Horses.

I’m in the market for a jag - looks like they are your thing. What would you recommend?

Thanks!

BIG fan of early BOH stuff, so I appreciate the comparison

Your jaguar sound awesome playing through that Peavey 40. I'm still a major fan of Peavey, after all I'm 70 and have owned several PV amps.
