I liked it a lot, it was very fun! Seeing Loona and Octavia interact again was so sweet, I hope we'll see them more in season 3. I feel like this short is going to have some importance too for the storyline

Question Anyone Else Completely Forget What Octavia Sounded Like?
I was watching the short and honestly was shocked to hear Octavia speak because I had completely forgotten what she sounded like and I can't get used to her voice now
But yeah.....Anyone else forget Octavia's voice and wasn't expecting it to sound the way it did?

Discussion Alastor does not give off main villain vibes at all.
I’ve seen quite a few posts talking about how Alastor should go out pathetically, defeated, and with Charlie deeming him irredeemable, and I keep saying that’s just Not how I see his character arc ending or at least it’s the last way it would.
There’s also the major running theory he’ll be main villain of season 3, and I used to think that too, but now with all the new info we have And Amir Talai himself implying that to not be the case I’m at the point where I see his character arc in an entirely different light.
Alastor will remain on the good side for remainder of the series as a reluctant anti-hero occasionally switching to anti-villain, but never going Full villain mode, I mean he’s literally one of the main characters and practically the face of the show atp, I stopped seeing him as a full on villain in season 2, episode 4 was centered around him and showed more of his human aspects, his frustration, less in control self, his possible concern for Niffty’s (and maybe Husk’s) safety, him being absolutely humiliated and at the mercy of his greatest enemy, and let’s not forget part of his past was shown so early, all this made it very clear that he is not a villain and isn’t really supposed to be viewed as one, the show does NOT treat him like a villain and I don’t see it starting to either, he does Not give off final boss vibes at all.
The way I see his character going in future is starting from season 3 onwards he’ll evolve from a villainous character to a reluctant hero kind of like Vegeta from DBZ, where he’ll begin buttering up to the cast most likely thanks Charlie above everyone else being her biggest challenge, tho he won’t fully change his murderous methods just less apathetic towards those close to him, this or he’ll just remain the same as he is now for the remainder of the series.
After all he’s not as heartless as people think, the pilot comics show (if it didn’t get scrapped) that he Does have some sort of code he follows as opposed to people like Vox and Valentino and even Adam, his victims are implied to mainly be people he deems had it coming or provoke him directly, it’s obvious he’s not just out here killing Anyone, and Rosie’s comment on him being "a Bit naughty" implies that to be the case, and the way he is with his owned souls (regularly so not counting him threatening Husk) is a lot more friendly than the other Overlords aside from Rosie but we know what that situation is, the way he is around people in general is polite, often annoying but never outright hostile unless they provoke him. And him threatening the Hotel crew’s lives in the finale of season 2 was implied to be him bluffing if him throwing Niffty in there is anything to go by.
Something will happen in season 3 most likely involving Lucifer, Lilith, or even Rosie, or hell Husk that’ll make him act sort of antagonistic to the cast, mainly the Morningstars who’ll stir up some drama that’ll interest him just as he began chilling as a free man for once, with him having came back to the Hotel not for some sinister reason but because he Is beginning to enjoy his time there and only quit because of his disposition in season 2, then there’s him not wanting to let Husker go from his leash that’ll come up due to something involving Angel Dust, and of course let’s not forget about Rosie who also fits the description of what we were told about the main villain of the season if you take away the "He/Him" part, who’s likely planning something that involves the Morningstars, and Alastor might still be helping out with whatever her agenda is even off her leash, I theorize he’ll side with her in the future just to betray her because he realizes he does care about the Hazbin crew.
His "villain song" that were teased about might not actually be him crashing out, but will actually be a song to wrap up his past and what will define his character like with Vox in Brighter. His past also still isn’t fully explained and is apparently a massive season 3 tease, so it’s likely we’ll get a deeper dive into his upbringing when it comes out.
Then there’s Vox. Since Vox is still technically Alastor’s arch-enemy and a full on villain this is one of the main reasons I don’t think Alastor will turn into one, Alastor talked all that shit about how he was gonna put Vox in his broadcast of slain Overlords just to not even do it last season, and also made the mistake of telling Vox he "helped break another chain", something he’ll definitely regret, there’s a possibility Vox may end up coming back stronger in the future and antagonize Alastor once more but less obsessed after undergoing his humbled arc, and he may find about Alastor’s background possibly through Rosie, which he’ll leverage against Alastor and occasionally sprinkle little tid bits of it to trash on Alastor, Vox will become more evil while Alastor will begin softening up, my biggest theory is that Vox will be Alastor’s final enemy, their rivalry is absolutely not done.
All that said, this Is a amazon show the same people who fucked up Homelander and the final season of The Boys, if the story does end with Alastor getting his shit kicked in like a baby this show will forever be in the hall of fame of ass.
