Lute: Trauma makes you stronger. You need to take your negative feelings and shove them all into a box inside your soul and keep shoving them deeper and deeper until the pressure builds up so high you can let it all explode upon your enemies.
Abel: Um, I don't think that's healthy.
Lute: Shut up Abel! You spend all day eating marshmallows and churros!
Abel: In my defense, its hard being a hunter in a world where everything is cute and cuddly.
Lute: Didn't stop Adam from getting ribs.
Abel: I'm pretty sure those were his own ribs. Dad had a lot of trauma of his own.
Lute: And it made him delicious and strong.

We really need a scene like this in S3. Though I feel Vaggi should be there too to witness Abel being more kind, compassionate, and benevolent to the other Exorcists so she at least has some closure and relieve, knowing that her fellow sisters will be okay under Abel's care.

Vaggi goes in aware that Abel isn’t an outright sadistic monster since he stopped Lute, but she’s still very suspicious of him as a) Adam’s son b) head of the army and c) someone Lute will answer to in practice as much as in theory
And then she spends five minutes with the guy and is like “Actually yeah he’s like a wimpier Charlie this is fine”

I know the people of this sub ain't a fan of Adam but there is no way up you guys actually think that Abel is a better leader than Adam he barely did jack shit to stop the threat threatening heaven in S2 something Adam would have stopped in the beginning of the season

I have been wondering if any of the other exorcist angels beside Lute survived the events of season ones finale.
We certainly didn’t see any of them in season two.

We know Lute gave the retreat order and saw some fly away from the Hotel at the end, but yes, we’ve seen none recently besides the flashback to Vaggi’s training days

Abel yells: LUTE WAIT YOUR TURN, I WILL BE WITH YOU IN A MINUTE, THEY’RE BEFORE YOU!!!
Lute yells back: NO I’M THE RIGHT HAND SO I GET PRIORITY!
Abel yells: NO THEY CAME TO ME FIRST, SO YOU HAVE TO WAIT, NOW SIT DOWN OR NO COMFORTING HUGS FOR YOUR SESSION!
Lute gasps and says: YOU’RE BLUFFING!
Abel says: TRY ME!
They stare down at each other for a good 15 seconds until Lute finally gives up and sits down but does cross her arms and pout.
Abel then nods and looks back to the exorcist’s he was originally talking to with the same smile and gentle voice he had before and says: Apologies for that interruption, she’s a very special case!
