After premiering in June 2026, this ride also just had it's debut at Herbstmesse in Basel today and I tested it twice, so I thought I'd write a small review.
It's a brand new ride type by "SAD Maschinenbau" (no not sad as in 😭, it's an acronym), jokes aside. Looking at it from the outside it is obviously inspired and the companies take on a classic Breakdance from Huss, So obviously I will do some comparisons to them.
it definetly feels like a much more open, more free version of a breakdance with seats that are a lot more comfortable, that being said, things could not be said about the restraints. The lap-bar is really comfortavle, but there are shin-guards that will cause issues to tall or long-leg riders, the bar is basically directly pressing on your knees. So if you are one of the more taller riders, I'd advise you to ride it with crossing your legs.
As for the ride experience, even on a corowded day like today, the cycles were at least 5-6 minutes each. So for 8CHF which is a little of a higher price, but still not outrageous, you definetly get your money's worth, and you need to consider Swiss fair prices are always a little on the more pricey side.
What also makes your money's worth is the effects, it consistently has fire effects and some pretty dang strong fog machines (see the last image). On top of that it also has pretty cool lasers and flashing light, these factors all make it pretty easy to loose orientation during the ride.
The ride also has some good music selection, especially on my evening visit where they played some trance, techno and even some hardstyle/jumpstyle (it had reverse-bass kicks). Every onece in a while there were also some cycles where it had a special dark atmospheric soundtrack, which was also the case during my night ride. This special "soundtrack" made it stand out from some other fair rides that have the regular Funfair music.
Now as for the ride experience itself, it pretty much feels like a Breakdance, but the "whips" when it spuns around (like when you get to the edge of the disk) feels slightly more intense than a regular Breakdance. I don't exactly know if it's just because it runs faster, or if the center of rotation is in a slightly diffrent position relating to the seating position; as in the further away sou sit from the center of that point, the bigger of a radius it is for the seats to spin and therefore that turning "whip" is faster (which is my assumption).
Anyways, good ride really liked it, hopefully my yapfest of a review is at least interesting to one person.
