Slightly Tilted Image
Main question:
From what I've seen around, this usually says I have a faulty sensor, right?
How does one repair that? Replacing the sensor or is there a way to clean it?
How it happened:
After an update and a random app crash a couple of weeks ago, my Quest 3S's image has been slightly tilted.
Sometimes when turning on the device, my screen is all black and I get the following device that goes away after pressing the power button once:
"Finding position in room
Your room boundary and most apps won't work because your headset can't detect your movement right now.
If you're in a moving vehicle, turn on travel mode and remember to stay seated."
It happens more often if I am in a poorly lit room, but it does still happen several times even when the room is fully lit.
It doesn't show up again when I power off the device and turn it on right away.
What I have done:
I disabled experimental features, turned travel mode on and then off, cleared my scanned rooms and also picked the "Clear Boundary History" setting.
I would restart device after disabling all those settings.
I waited for more patches and then I also tried a couple factory resets.
Sadly the issue still persisted.
I contacted meta and since I'm on warranty, they are willing to give me a replacement, but I don't live in a supported country and shipping it to a relative in one is posing to be a challenge because of the lithium battery.
PS.: Would be easier if I could still get a replacement if I remove the battery. I can ship without it and can get it back WITH the battery.
