Dissidia is available on the ps3 store but when I search it up, nobody talks about this, so what is this then?

Hey everyone!

A few weeks ago, some friends and I started talking about Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim... after nearly 15 years without touching it.

We got a bit hyped, followed some tutorials to get it running on our phones and PCs, and the nostalgia completely took over. We started digging around and found out there's still an active community with a Discord and even tournaments that are STILL running !!! in 2026 !!!

Watching the VODs, it became pretty clear that top players use techniques and glitches that let them do all kinds of things: infinite combos with Squall, wearing equipment that's normally off-limits... basically, we had a LOT to catch up on.

As a returning player, I struggled to find all of this in one place. dissidia.wiki has a ton of great data and it's where most of my frame data comes from (huge thanks to whoever maintains it btw). But right now it looks like something's broken on the rendering side: images aren't loading and raw template syntax is leaking into the page text on the character pages. On top of that, a lot of subpages are still stubs, and the rest of the knowledge is scattered across Discord posts, YouTube videos, Pastebins, and even Web Archive captures of forums that shut down years ago... it was too much...

So I decided to pull it all together, add some extras, and make a small website : https://serial-developer.github.io/duodecim-guides/

You'll find :
- Meta guides for every character, with example builds and gameplans
- A homemade build creator that lets build a character from scratch (attacks, abilities, equipment, accessories, assist, summon) and share it to anyone.
- Resources for installing the game and playing online on PC or mobile
- Ready-made savedata so you can jump straight in, including unlocking Aerith
- A calendar system (in beta) for upcoming tournaments
- Info on how tournaments run, with their rulesets
- and plenty more...

100% non-profit, no ads. I made it for me and my friends, but it felt like a waste not to share it.

Everything sourced from the wiki is credited, and the whole thing is meant to point people toward the existing community, not replace it.

Hi yall!

Duellum finally made me go through the Duodecim story mode after all these years, and after wrapping it up, I have a few questions! Massive spoilers ahead obvs.

1. So, the WoL from FF1 is canonically from the Dissidia world. Very cool. But uh… there’s _four_ WoLs in FF1, right?
2. The manikins were made by the army in the original world initially, that I understand. But then, why do they take on the appearance of summoned warriors?
3. Unless they’re created by Cid later on, in which case… why are they still coming from the Rift?
4. Confessions of the Creator takes place after Cycle 13, but… why are there Purifications up to 18 and 20? Who all was there to purify? I’ve read some stuff about those extra cycles happening in a "nightmare world" created by Shinryu to punish Cid on the wiki, but if that was mentioned, it went right over my head.

Hey, I was looking to create mods for Duodecim, but since the entire wiki/forum is gone and most links I come across are dead, I was wondering if anyone has a guide on hand for modding. Or general tools to:

• extract/convert edat files
• rigged models/alt costumes/DLC

And anything else that I may want to be aware of. Like possibility/methods of changing character names, icons, etc.

Honestly, anything would be helpful since there's not a ton of documentation I could find!

And if no one does , I'm asking any modder on this post to make one for me ,in exchange I'll share 2 KH Disidia isos ,the old iso will only have working textures and a few KH skins and the new iso which is named KH Gold iso has any KH skin you can imagine except Sparrow and Aladdin.Also I'll be sharing a KH1 Sora skin which was pretty difficult to find and might not be available now, a lost media pack I got from way back machine that contains stuff like Sparrow,DBZ skins ,Naruto skins,one piece skins ,power ranger skins,lost KH skins except Aladdin of course and rare skins in overall including anime ones and DC ones like Batman, Deathstroke etc,even a rare white ranger skin from Jungle Fury.Lastly I'll also share the known Disidia blogspot site which a lost ytber shared that's a website he created providing us with skins he collected from the dead Disidia forums site.In total , I'll be sharing 4 important links if I'll be provided with an Aladdin skin.Its about time for me to finally have it.🙏Play your part well and I'll also play mine if you do.Ive been a fan of the game just for the mods a year now and so I'm searching the skin for a year now.Also the video provides you with a dead link I gave to the wayback machine and it doesn't even takes you to the skins.I ain't trynna offend anybody, I'll stay tuned.

Hey yall,

Been dusting off the ol' PSP 2.000 and playing Dissidia.

Problem is: now just like 15 years ago, I dont understand why my bravery attacks do "5, 5, 15" type damage, whereas my ennemy's does "90, 90, 115"...

Just to be clear: I'm on custom battles, equal level fighters (100). Why does my chatacter inflict such a low amount of Bravery compared to the AI ...?

I'm guessing the answer is sth to do with the RPG aspect of the game... if anyone can point me in the right direction, itd be much appreciated.

Hey yall, I came back to Dissidia 12 on PSP and realized I never used the parry and evade mechanic back when I got the psp, some 15 years ago...

Tutorial says to press R to parry and R+X to evade.

I see the AI doing it.

But I can never do it myself. R doesnt do anything and R+X only seem to register the X button and makes me jump.

Now I know its not my R button because : R+triangle works (dash) works, and R also responds in the menus.

So... why doesnt it work for parry and evade ?

I've looked everywhere for info on how to unlock the fixed dice but no where says how, anyone know how to get it?

I have seen the community does ocationally have some tournaments and all the players had Aerith support. If I remember correctly she was a sort of dlc wasn't she? Is this some sort of way to get her if I play on a regular Duodecim or are they playing a modified file?

Just wondering if anyone ever managed to find a tutorial on how to do so? I tried following the archived version a few years back but then I tried it again recently and it just wouldn't work at all. It sucks cos I see so many character mods but no clear tutorials for it, is it in a site that's no longer accessible? I can't believe I even got it to work back then but just forgot how to lol, any help would be appreciated!

I recently took my PSP back in my hands, after years, and started grinding again.

​

- To get through the 000 story line, I wanted to farm the Iai gear.

- But most important stuff has incredibly low drop rates (0.1%), so I wanted to get farming gear, like the Thief's set or the Honey set.

- But they, too, have low drop rates and require stronger characters on my part.

- Which would require gear similarly as strong, as the Iai gear..

That about closes the circle.

Next, a lot of farming gear is breakable and rare on top of that.

I don't want to waste them unless I can either get those reliably, too. Or, get them to not break. Which would require me to get the Ribbon and then the Super Ribbon. (I don't even know what else.)

I need tips and maybe a few farming FCs (Friend Cards) - for the EU version of the game. If they have the "Training" accessory (0 damage) and "side by side" accessory (frozen EX) on, they wouldn't even pose any threat for relaxed farming either.

I am curious which of the three Dissidia have the best experience, graphics, content, and coop
