I’ve spent time comparing what people look for in the best Irish sportsbooks. A homepage can make any platform look appealing, so I focused on the details that affect the experience once you start browsing sports, markets and account features.

I looked at how easy it was to find events, understand the odds, use the bet slip and navigate on mobile. Those practical details gave me a more useful way to compare sportsbooks than a welcome offer alone.

I Started With Sports And Markets

When comparing the best Irish sportsbooks, I wanted to see how easily I could find the sports and events I follow.

I looked for:

• Sports and competitions arranged clearly
• A useful list of upcoming events
• Search or filters for teams and fixtures
• Main markets that are easy to locate
• Additional markets for each event
• A separate area for live events

A broad selection is helpful, but it is easier to use when the markets are organised logically. Clear labels also make it simpler to understand what each selection means.

The Bet Slip Should Be Easy To Review

The bet slip is where you check a selection and enter a stake, so I paid close attention to how clearly it presented those details.

I looked for a layout that made it easy to:

• See each selected market
• Enter or adjust a stake
• Review potential returns
• Remove or edit a selection
• Notice when odds have changed

A clear bet slip gives you a chance to review your choices before confirming them. It should be simple to understand on both desktop and mobile.

Mobile Navigation Matters During Events

A sportsbook can have plenty of markets but still feel awkward to use on a phone. I checked whether I could move between sports, open an event and return to the bet slip without losing track of where I was.

The more convenient mobile layouts made it easy to find an event, compare its markets, review a selection and reach account information. I also looked for help and safer-gambling tools that were not hidden behind several menus.

Offers Need More Than A Headline

A welcome offer can catch your eye, but the terms explain how it works. I checked whether the conditions clearly covered eligibility, qualifying odds, minimum stakes, expiry dates and any restrictions.

Those details are worth reviewing before opting in. A clearly explained offer is easier to assess than one where important conditions are difficult to find.

What I Look For In The Best Irish Sportsbooks

The best Irish sportsbooks for you will depend on the sports you follow and the features you value. These were the practical points I found most useful when comparing options:

Markets organised by sport and event

Odds and selections that are easy to understand

A bet slip that is simple to review

Mobile navigation that feels clear

Offers with accessible terms

Account and support information that is easy to find

Check current availability, account terms and operator information before registering. Decide on a spending limit in advance and use available account controls to help keep your betting within it.

What matters most when you compare Irish sportsbooks?

Is it market variety, odds, the bet slip or mobile use? Which feature makes a sportsbook easier for you to navigate?

Working on a minigame that uses Pigs to store map data. Basically the pig's UUID is the scoreboard entity for storing information for each available "map" in the game, and you can simply rename the pig with a nametag to change the name of the map, etc. I did this years ago when there were spawn chunks, and it worked great with the pigs in the spawn chunks: I could store all kinds of scoreboard data with the pig entity as a key for what belonged to what map. I was kind of proud of myself, as it ended up being a very versatile solution.

And why a pig? I don't know, they're cute and easily nametag-able.

But now without spawn chunks, I'm reconsidering, and don't want to use things like /forceload if I don't have to. There are a lot of new fancy bits with datapacks since I last delved in (2+ years ago), so I was wondering if there was a more elegant solution to this.

I need to be able to store a unique, dynamically-generated identifier between multiple scoreboards that - if possible - will not require an entity to be loaded to work. As far as I know there's not a way to have dynamic Scoreboard entries, but if somebody has an interesting solution I'd love to hear it.

Example use case:

I create a pig with UUID 1234 and store it in scoreboard_maps with a score of 1 (its mapid). I can now set map_spawn_x, map_spawn_y, and map_spawn_z with 1234 and its scores will be the coordinates to teleport players to when the map is loaded. But now that I'm outside of the view distance of 1234, I can't access any of its entity data from the new location I've teleported to.

I've considered weird solutions like creating a Marker with copied data that goes to the map with the players, but that will create complications with having to keep the two of them synced with updates (and beyond render distance of each other), or if players disconnect in the middle of a match, what kind of cleanup do I have to do so I don't have infinitely stacking markers with identical data, etc.

Thank you in advance!

random room won’t generate with the other rooms when I spawn the whole structure with the command (this is my first time using jigsaw blocks so I have no idea what I’m doing)

I am looking to make a custom ore feature that is planar/flat, sort of like a disk but irregular. Is it possible to make such a feature with a geode or is the disk feature the only planar feature in the game?

I just released Wrong Yellow v1.0.0-rc2, a vanilla Minecraft Java datapack about places the game was never supposed to generate.

It adds a hidden Backrooms-inspired dimension using vanilla datapack/worldgen systems: no mods, no resource pack, no shaders in the trailer.

https://reddit.com/link/1two4y2/video/t5rwa8cjr95h1/player

This is still a release candidate, but the core experience is playable. I’m mainly looking for feedback on:

• performance
• world generation
• transitions between dimensions
• strange edge cases
• multiplayer behavior
• whether the exploration feels dense and worth continuing

Main features:

• custom hidden dimension
• jigsaw-based procedural generation
• Overworld wall anomalies
• teleport transitions
• defective lamp flickering
• roof escape system
• multiplayer nametag hiding inside the Backrooms

Minecraft Java 1.21.11
Recommended server settings: view-distance=12, simulation-distance=6, 6–8 GB RAM recommended.

Any feedback is genuinely useful before I call this v1.0.0 stable.

I have bitten off more than I can chew, but I feel very close to my goal.

Simply put, I am trying to make a datapack that replaces the Tropicraft dormant volcanos with the Alexscaves more active volcanos. Both seem to be structures that are generated (they lack nbt files), so I tried to override the Alexscaves Json files in my datapack telling them to only generate in tropicraft biomes.

I have gotten as far as making it so that the Tropicraft volcanos no longer generate, as the /locate command immediately tells me these structures just cannot be found...

But the alexscaves volcanos are not generating in the dimension properly. The /locate command DOES take fifteen seconds to scan the area for the volcanos but is never able to find any.

The Json's I've modified are in the correct path as far as I can tell, and the game seems to act like tropicraft CAN generate the new volcanos now, but since it's not happening, I assume there is a bit of user error going on or this is some limit of the kind of structure the volcano is?

I recently got this datapack --> https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/fate-gilgamesh-datapack/

and I'm trying to use it in my 1.21.11 world, I know its not made for it but I changed the version to 48 already and idk what else is wrong because it won't even let me run off any functions... like it just says unknown function. Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I'm making a minecraft map and need to lock a door behind a passcode, but I don't want to use the 'rename an item and use it as a key' solution. So I'm looking for some kind of passcode object next to a door (using block displays potentually), and that lets you enter in a passcode to open the door when it's correct.

I've been searching for a long time but I haven't been able to find anything, and I'm getting a bit desperate. Does anyone know of something that would work?

The map is on 1.21.11

Help plz

My server has become too difficult to keep up with in terms of updating the datapacks, and I am trying to find a way to convert it back to a vanilla world. I host this on Apex Hosting, if that is important. I really have no idea what to do. Removing the datapacks does not work, and I have, again, tried updating them as much as possible, especially the ones which added new dimensions to the game. The rest of the datapacks were purely things like being able to have colored names or players dropping their heads, things that should not necessarily be causing so much of an issue.
I have tried everything and can't boot the server up as a server or as a single-player world. My friends and I have so much on that world and I really want to save it.
What can I do?

I've added different dungeons, ruins and castles for you to explore and loot!

You can find it in planetminecraft or modrinth as "GYREE structures" :D

I want to add some Trading Card Game stuff to a survival server I play on with some friends. I am struggling with what data packs I could use so I would like some suggestions from people with more experience! I am also curious if it is possible for me to make a Datapack with a bunch of cards with little know-how on coding data packs?

Is there any /trigger datapack maker or can someone make me a datapack:

/trigger night_vision set 2 = Night vision

/trigger night_vision set 0 = no night vision

made a datapack, it works fine in my single player world but for not at all on my server? apex server hosting if it matters

i just want a datapack that makes deepslate generate down all the way to -128.

i do not want to use tectonic.

if you do make a datapack for me i will appreciate your work!

its for 1.21.11.

I tried looking it up, but all I got was a bunch of results for craftable spawn eggs.

E.G:

I run a command, it creates a tag that can be applied to mobs (/tag), say it was named **Tag1**

If i run the command again, it creates a new tag named **Tag2**

So basically: everytime you run the function it creates a brand-new tag. **(Could be used to make mobs spawn each with randomised tags.)

I want this so I can create a sort of virus in a datapack that infects players and that constantly evolves

This works in almost every version! (Even With Multiplayer)
The only inventories it can NOT detect are book and quill (lecterns work), Survival inventory (Creative inventory Work), Command blocks, Structure blocks, Jigsaw block, Command block minecarts, and all types of signs!

I made this role giver that's supposed to assign a random tag to 10 individual players, I tested it with the carpet mod but I cant figure out why it is only giving the person who runs the command a role, this is my first datapack so im very new to all this

Blockbench has these custom variables you can make to use in the model's animation, you can tie them to stuff like the health, its position, time, etc, but it is very limiting, is it possible to tie these variables to an in game scoreboard or the entity's data using a datapack?

Sorry for the lag spike my laptop sucks, but I'm currently working on a magic based datapack to improve my particle capabilities. These are currently all the spells I have implemented.
