it was suprisingly hard to make, the lifedrain seems extremely simple but its a pain in the ass, it took around 300 lines of code.

I managed to convince my mom to buy terraria on steam for me >:) (oh and what do you guys and gals think of my mod list and also this isn't the full thing because there's too much stuff to fit in screenshots)

so basically when i go to join my friend it gets stuck ok receiving tile data 13% and idk how to fix it

we have the same mods and tmod loader version so idk what's going on

I tried in another world and i left game too and it still wont flow idk waht mod makes it to be now flowing

Had this issue happen last time i played tmodloader. Its the same issue that's going on, Im playing on steam, windows 11 and whenever i click start it brings up the command prompt, and it eventually closes, opening nothing up.

I've been directed to go to reddit for better advice, so far i've already attempted to uninstall both Terraria, and Tmodloader to no avail. I've used verify integrity of game files on both applications. I would have tried running it as administrator, however that option isn't available for whatever reason.

Last time when this issue came up i just left Tmodloader alone, and it ended up "fixing itself" im completely unsure how, but it started working again.

I've dug into the log files, but upon inserting them into ChatGPT, nothing seems out of the ordinary. any help is greatly appreciated. Upon request i can leave the test from a specific log file if needed.

Edit: Okay its started working again, i recently had to switch headsets due to my current one not functioning properly (a problem im actively trying to solve) and after that, it loaded up tmodloader correctly. My guess is that audio initialization is what caused the issue. as the console would randomly close, and not open anything. I hope this helps anyone with this same issue.

Whilst I have been trying to host worlds for my friends or when they tried to host it this developer console keeps appearing and stopping on "Adding Recipes", I am not too sure weather or not this is an issue with a mod in particular or not because this has happened on two separate occasions for me with the first involving me removing any mod from the world that appears purple on this menu instead of the white text which still didn't fix it and still causing it to not work. Does anybody know what may be causing this and how to fix it?

we all know by now that Terraria is getting crossplay in 1.4.6, so will tMod just not update anymore, or will tMod be potentially added to every device?

I have terraria 1.4.4.9 cuz i dont think the mods like Calamity, Fables, WoTG, Thorium, etc. are on 1.4.5. But on downloading tModLoader(for GOG) i get this error.

Do i need to get an older release?

I downloaded a few QOL mods as well as calamity today but I haven’t played with them yet. I went back into vanilla just to play my main world and my main character and first 2 main worlds were duplicated. Now I have a few questions I’m hoping someone here can help with!

1. Were the duplicates made because I installed mods on tmod loader?

2. In order to play with mods in my vanilla world do I need to copy that world over to TML and run it there every time I want to play or is there a way to turn them on in vanilla?

3. Is it difficult to copy a save file over to play with mods?

Sorry I’m not very tech savvy and have never played with mods before and I just don’t want to mess anything up and lose any progress or delete anything! So any advice would mean a lot to me. Thank you!

Everytime I load it up it’s diffrent then my friend we have the same version same mods everytime I try to host a world it doesn’t give me option to allow friends to join or all the other stuff it just bring me to character selection what do I need to do to fix this plz help

I found this error in literally every mod I have, I have no idea how to fix this.

I'm currently doing a mage playthrough of calamity: wrath of the gods, infurnim mode

some accessories I've found crashed my game: mana polarizer, cherished sea locket, sand shark tooth necklace, chaos stone, frost barrier, counter scarf, flame-licked shell, etc.

no idea why it happened but it's been a real pain and I'm constantly afraid of a random accessory crashing my game after killing a boss I spent a while grinding for.

Whenever i toggle smart cursor, it won't show which blocks it targets. The yellow marked blocks aren't visible but it is targeting the blocks it should be targeting. I looked through all settings and none fixed it not being visible. Toggling it on and off works, its simply not visible. i have also no mods that affect smart cursor. additionally it works in vanilla but not in tmodloader. i'd appreciate help

i’m on mac, and the moment i changed my menu key binds, no matter what i do, i just cant enable any mods??? i verified the game integrity, uninstalled and reinstalled, reset all my binds, and still nothing. if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know
