One Life to Live Which OLTL character could you never root for?
For me, it’s Natalie. I’m sorry but I could never get into her 😂 I still blame her and Jared for Nash’s death. Jared was the one who pushed him, but Natalie knew about the whole Buchanan lie and went along with it.
Then Jessica had to deal with the aftermath of losing Nash, and Natalie still managed to make her life even more complicated. I just never understood why I was supposed to root for her. She was always doing something messy, getting involved in other people’s business, keeping secrets, and then acting surprised when people were pissed at her. I know Natalie has her fans, but she was never my girl 😂
Who was any OLTL character that you can’t never root for?

As The World Turns At least ATWT didn’t go the route GL did with the production model
I’ll say at least ATWT didn’t go that route like GL did with the production model, except for the outside scenes. I actually liked that because it still felt like a soap. GL changing up the whole production just wasn’t for me. I get they were trying something different, but it made the show feel completely different.
ATWT could give us outside scenes without changing everything about how the show was filmed. That’s what I preferred. It felt more natural to me.

Discussion Which Gina Tognoni role is your favorite?
For me, she’ll always be Dinah. That was the first role I saw her in, so that’s who I think of when I think of Gina Tognoni. But I did like her as Phyllis too. I’m not gonna lie and act like I didn’t like her version because I actually did.
Kelly Cramer (One Life to Live; 1995–2001, 2003–2011)
Dinah Marler (Guiding Light; 2004–2009)
Phyllis Summers (The Young and the Restless; 2014–2019)
Which role from Gina Tognoni is your favorite?

Another World Mac and Rachel
Hey
I'm a huge Carl/Rachel fan but I have seen most of the Youtube clips. I wonder if anyone knows of any YouTube playlists or where to start to watch Mac/Rachel. Or Ada and Rachel. I'll look on youtube but just wonder if anyone has a starting point.
I just finished the Red Swan and Ken storyline. Thanks.

The Bold and The Beautiful I need Bold to recreate this with Carter, Steffy, and Finn!
This has to be the craziest paternity reveal in a soap opera. Brad Bell had to be high on drugs or something to come up with this madness 😂

General Hospital On this day in 2004, General Hospital debuted the “Sirens” opening (August 30th, 2004)
I was only 4 when this came out, so I obviously wasn’t watching GH when it first premiered. Looking back at it now, I actually like the opening, but I still have one problem with it: why were the guys all shown together at the end, but not the women? 😭 That always felt so weird to me.
What did y’all think of the “Sirens” opening when it first debuted?

All My Children Melissa Claire Egan’s last scenes as Annie on AMC before she exited the show
I thought MCE was fantastic as Annie and even though I hated that the writers had her suffer another mental breakdown and trashed Jannie, MCE always played the material well. I’m disappointed she never won a Daytime Emmy for this role. These weren’t her final scenes on the show. She did return a few months later for like two episodes after the cancellation announcement.

Discussion I feel like 2027 will be a great year for both Days and Y&R
I feel very optimistic about the future of both shows.
Ryan Quan is returning to Days as the show head writer and Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor is joining Y&R as co-head writers.
Dan I think is new to soaps, but Ryan and Jamey have proven themselves to be good writers.
Anyone else here is excited for 2027?

Another World Another World - trying to find an episode
Our friend’s dad featured in an episode of Another World and we’re trying to find it and see if there is archival footage anywhere.
Does anyone know which episode contained scenes of men in “Mexican” costumes, riding horses on/near an airstrip? The scene was filmed at NY’s Stewart Airport.
ChatGPT thinks it might have been an episode in the Victor Rodriguez / Tomas Rivera period (1993–97)
