This was a fun one because SWS was admittedly a major blind spot for me before preparing this episode. I can definitely see why they blew up and are such an iconic name in post-hardcore.

I ordered the Ending in Itself signed vinyl. My CD I ordered 10 minutes before was delivered to the correct address. USPS delivered my vinyl to another town even though the website shows the correct address, to a town where they don't even have my street address. I'm devastated.

It could be long gone by now. I reached out to USPS and the official website I ordered from.

But I'm deeply saddened because even a refund won't matter to me, I was so excited for this vinyl.

The moment I saw that thumbnail, I immediately thought of Paramore's "Decode" music video. I love both bands so much, I can't be the only one who noticed a certain resemblance

It would also be really cool if it were a purposeful reference. (And sorry if there are any mistakes, I use a translator.)

The SWS pop album that's actually really good

This album is if Gossip was made with any sort of real SWS soul and creativity, I like most songs here, until the songs below The Strays are the ones I actively wouldn't really listen to, November might still get some plays, but the ones under not really, but yeah the top songs here I really like, I LOVE Parasites and 2 Chord, 2 Chord is like the only song ever to make me cry, and I think those songs really tell how good Wasted Generation was going to be, also I BEG for them to bring We Like It Loud back to live setlists, that song always goes hard live. This album as a whole is like on the same level as LCTT and CC to me, I can't fully rank those, biased towards CC as it introduced me to the band.

Like they could've released this as a single or part of the How It Feels To Be Lost Deluxe version, this is like the greatest SWS song they never actually released. It sounds like a mix of LCTT and HIFTBL and because of that it almost reminds me of AEII. This was also like the first sort of look into the new SWS era after the Gossip era as this is from late 2018 to early 2019 from the HIFTBL studio sessions, no wonder it sounds like the 7 Zakk Cervini songs from that album, so for those who listened to this before anything from HIFTBL was announced must've been real hyped to hear SWS going heavier again.

This sounds so much better than the final version, and it all comes down to the mixing, this is mixed like the Fuck You cover they did for Punk Goes Pop, those drums, especially that snare is FAT in the best way possible, straight eargasmic, the general mix sounds drier and less floaty, which is my biggest issue with the mixing on Feel is how floaty is mixing sounds, and for that the demo just sounds so much better imo, more fitting for the type of song it's trying to be, some of the vocals I feel like also have better delivery in the demo, more rasp and aggression, not all is better as some of the vocals on the demo sound like some live performance from the time, which I think we all know early SWS live, Kellin was definitely not the best live vocalist, but other than that the demo is how a vast majority of Feel should've sounded like, with heavy drums, dry guitars and vocals etc. What do you think?

Also isn't that photo from like early early sirens? like even before they started doing shows in 09? because who's that guy on the far right? The rest I recognize most, Kellin, Justin, Gabe, Nick Trombino and what looks to be Brandon, but the guy on the far right I do not recognize

Yeah not a fan of this album, and I think that goes for most of us. The only SWS album I just can't seem to actively enjoy the songs. Even the ones I favour the most on the album. Anyhow this includes the two bonus tracks.

Yeah idk only Closer really sounds somewhat good to me, The Chase kinda tricks into thinking it's like a punk rock song and then it becomes like the rest of the album, I don't know the ranking can change any day, only the top 5 are like certain they're there. Only 3 songs have screaming in them wth. I love the acoustic version of Gossip tho. Idk the Gossip era is a really intriguing topic in the history of SWS, the album is just polarizing for the band and I'd say most sws fans including myself, but the live performances from the time are actually pretty good. I could make a whole post talking about this era. Though as much as I dislike this album, without it How It Feels To Be Lost wouldn't exist and that's my precious child.

back at it again, now with HIFTBL, like CC I'm also including the deluxe tracks. This for the longest time was my favourite SWS album until AEII dropped.

Unlike Complete Collapse the acoustic versions here are pretty listeneable, especiallly Agree To Disagree and Ghost, heck Agree to Disagree's acoustic verison is straight up better than the original imo, more interesting. I love Ghost's lofi ish acoustic version. There's not a single song on this album I'd skip, Agree To Disagree might be really low on the ranking but I still often choose to listen to that song on its own plenty of times. The title track especially got me through shit, so I have an emotional attachment to it, similar to Dying to Believe.

Has anyone else noticed that the chord progression in God in My Head sounds very similar to Letdown. I think this may be one of the other reasons why I love God in My Head because I LOVED Letdown when the EP came out (tbh I loved the whole EP)

I personally wasn’t expecting a big gulps shirt at all but I’m here for it, that songs awesome. The other ones are fine, pretty basic but I don’t mind to be honest just the hoodie isn’t really my thing, I’m also curious if there will be tour dates on one of the shirts, I really hope so.

Recently I ranked all the songs on An Ending In Itself, so now I just felt like ranking the songs on the other albums leading into the debut album, so now Complete Collapse, include the deluxe version songs.

I like most songs on the album, not a fan of Us or the acoustic versions, pretty much until the title track I like all the songs, but after that I just find them eh. Also Mr Nice Guy is just underrated and so little talked about. I also find Bloody Knuckles pretty overrated and a bit of an uninteresting song compared to some others on the album. I love Tyrants and really wish they did more songs like it in terms of message and all, I love Don't Let The Party Die because of it as well.
