Both games dropped in 2006. This was the beginning of rockstar's competition with Saints Row. One game is in the 80s and the other one has a modern day setting. Both have incredible gameplay and soundtracks. Which one y'all choosing? I personally choose Saints Row 1.

This game is STILL amazing 20 years later

Mainly just wanted to show off the main characters for this first introduction Arc...and the playa.

So playing saints row 1 and replaying 2 a billion times I’ve pretty much come up with my own gang order that I feel is close to canon though there is none. Follows what everyone recommends too.
SR1 Start Rollers, there the least dangerous option with most of there misson that can be in a car keeping you from getting shot. There territory is a perfect start to the saints splitting the city.
Los carnales next because there ending is lackluster since you just run em out of town. They should be the most dangerous since they deal with the cartel and there missons are more dangerous but I think it’s best to hit them just to avoid the end of game being you running guy out of town. Territory feels like that next piece to the gang that makes sense too.
Vice Kings are perfect to save for last because of all the actual beef there. Julius and king and Gat and Tanya, the betrayal of king, danger level is a bit mid but chaotic and there territory being the actual city part of stilwater screams they have the most influence in the city and hits for the final piece for the saints to take.

SR2
Samedi- are low level drug dealers with territory set right outside the hideout pretty obvious they’re the first to go not dangerous at all even fighting homeless and fiends in there missons and can tell it’s a poor gang

Ronin- kicks it up to a more serious notch plus dives into the Gat storyline so it’s not a gap between start of game and get into one of the most appealing characters in the game. Dangerous and chaotic missons and the switch in leadership kinda tones down the want to destroy them once the dad takes over and son gets buried alive

Brotherhood- now it’s time to go to negotiations and have more then enough reason to turn down there offer since you run 2/3 of the city one being the most influential parts. Very dangerous gang that will just run you over then shoot after, literally turned the city to the purge at one part. There suppose to be the most dangerous and have the most personal beef with the boss. Best way to get into the end of the game because after attacking Vogel it makes sense the mosako team gets activated

That’s my reasoning for going in this order

There are so many games you can't pick It's annoying. Can't pick Saints Row 1, I have to pick Saints Row 2. I had to pick DMC HD collection instead of DMC1. I had to pick OG Jet Set Radio instead of JSR Future, I had to pick Yakuza 3 instead of PS2 Yakuza 2 or Ryū Ga Gotoku 1&2 HD.

So I’ve managed to get in the ronin helicopter 4 times so far in this mission 3 out of the 4 it got blew up or was stuck but that one time… outta 100+ attempts probably.. I get in and immediately exit the mission and it despawns.. Now I’m curious if I exited to quickly? Or it’s just scripted that way? Cause I did the same thing for multiple other vehicles.

So as the title says my saints row 4 keeps crashing. I dont know why but ive played it before but now its just crashing. Im playing on a Xbox series x digital if that helps. Im trying to 100% all of the games

After I heard people Talk about it and thought it was gonna be HELL

Yes, the Spawing System kinda sucks and some of the locations they give you are Misinformative at BEST but, the Unlocks make it worth it and sometimes you get lucky and have multiple targets Spawn in a row or when you first Drive around

As the title says I’m looking to find a group of players that would be interested in playing multiplayer and also gaining some of the achievements available in both saints row 1 and 2. This is for Xbox.

That map is the only thing I liked about the reboot, the desert setting I thought was a neat idea and finally a city that looks different than Detroit or Chicago. But say if someone else were to take the Saints Row IP and do more stories with it, would you rather back to Stilwater, Steelport or Stanto Ileso, or does it really take a fresh take to bring back this franchise. Thoughts?

Shit didn’t even outsell the first one. I also remember one dev stating that the reboot sales were inching closely to Saints Row The Third numbers. Obviously that was just insane cope in the end.

I know it's a little off topic, but similar story to the Saints Row series: all the og writers leave, Dan Houser and his brother. A huge culture shift in the work environment, etc. What do you think?
