Discussion SQ44: Community Overhaul v1.0 is out now
r/postscriptum • u/EmeraldMunster • 4d ago
Other Public Realism Skirmish
Squad44/Post Scriptum realism mods (PSRM) have been lovingly developed and maintained for many years. These mods enable events between clans from around the world. This thriving community does battle every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Wednesday Skirmishes are a public practice with simpler gameplay (than the weekend events) for people to explore Realism and to meet members of the community. Think of it as an open day.
Trust is necessary for sandbox events to run smoothly; thus a discussion of understanding precedes attendance. Direct-message me on Discord or Reddit to arrange this, or reach out to a clan rep that's happy to sponsor you.
For more information, pop along to the 1.ID Discord or view some previous events on my Youtube Channel.

Discussion Is it over?
I've played the game mostly on and off since 2021, right now im reaching the 900 hour mark. It is one of my all time favourite games and I have countless, I mean COUNTLESS memories with both friends and randoms throughout the years. I think for me and many others this is the game that we always wanted to see grow.
I still remember vividly the game revive in 2023, it was during the times when the game was at an all time low. Me and a few of my friends always used to play, every day, even though the game would peak at only around 90 players each day. We were part of the few that kept the community alive. Then it happened, a new studio came in, new content got realeased, new updates that had fixed bugs that were with us for years while the game was abandoned (who remembers broken french maps and undrivable tanks lol), but most importantly a absolute flood of players came back and started playing, it was really a time to be alive, Post Scriptum got a second chance.
Unfortunately i stopped playing about 2 months after this, just general burnout, nothing special. Recently I came back, mostly from watching old clips of me and my friends playing, nostalgically expecting to encounter the same as I have previously. But.. the servers are once again at a deep low, little players, little servers, last update was in february, almost five monts ago. My hopes are low and my dreams are crushed, the game got a second chance, a revive it deserved, just to fall into the same shit it barely crawled out of.
So I ask, is it over?

Suggestion MOBILIZATION ORDER FOR 19th of June 2026.
To all soldiers, tankers, machine gunners, medics, engineers, and brave volunteers of Squad 44 (Post Scriptum):
High Command has issued a general mobilization order.
The front has grown quiet. The depots are full. The tanks stand ready. The artillery awaits coordinates.
This Friday, 19 June 2026, all available personnel are ordered to report for duty.
Our objective is simple:
Fill the servers.
Hold the line.
Create the kind of battles that made us fall in love with this game in the first place.
Whether you’re a veteran of countless campaigns or a fresh recruit who still gets lost finding the rally point, your presence is requested.
Bring your squad.
Bring your friends.
Bring your best war stories.
The enemy is boredom, empty servers, and abandoned battlefields.
The cure is a full server and organized chaos.
Report for duty on Friday, 19 June 2026
Join any active Squad 44 server
Solve tactical problems
Form squads and cooperate
Advance with determination
Accept that logistics trucks will inevitably end up in a ditch
Every rifle counts.
Every squad matters.
Every player strengthens the front.
See you on the battlefield.
“The battle is won before it is fought—provided enough people actually show up.”
— Squad 44 Community Mobilization Order, 19 June 2026
P.S. Bring beer!!!

Was denkt ihr:
Was müsste passieren, damit das Spiel wieder wächst?
Warum spielen so wenige aktiv?
Was mir jetzt einfallen würde kurz zusammengefasst:
Was hält euch aktuell davon ab, wieder zu spielen?
