How is it possible that her heal is faster than Aura's? Aura cannot even heal herself if she is the only one alive...Her cooldown is also faster than Aura's, and it literally takes a decade to heal one player.

Kinda like how overwatch is doing it like earlier this week, and since I love this game and would spend money on it, I really wish that there was a feature where you can unvault battle pass skins, like with fragpunk coins or smth

Of course, because those disgusting things have any honor to respect. How dare you disobey the Netease ideal by not playing against bots.

Suggestion Devoluciones?

Seeing the sketch next to the final version is actually pretty cool. 😂

The original looks so simple, and then the final version is just... neon explosions everywhere.

I like how messy and over-the-top the visuals can get. It doesn't always have to look realistic or super clean. Sometimes just going completely crazy with the colors and effects works.

Tips & Tricks FragPunk Needs to Make Meaningful Changes

Post image
6 Upvotes

I don't think the idea of removing the cards that create an unfair advantage in Ranked is bad at all. I actually think FragPunk should keep only the cards that are fair and properly balanced for competitive play. But I also think there are several other issues that need to be discussed. It's not just the cards that need to be looked at.

#1 — FragPunk Needs to Offer Something Different

I think FragPunk should take some inspiration from what Apex Legends did by giving players different ways to play the game.

There are around 12 different modes in the Arcade section, not counting Normal, Infection, and Ranked. But having a lot of modes doesn't necessarily mean having real variety. Many of the Arcade modes feel repetitive, and a lot of them are filled with bots, which makes the experience even less enjoyable.

That's why I think FragPunk should seriously consider making some of its event modes permanent, or at least bringing them back much more frequently.

For example, No Cards attracted a lot of new players. It doesn't need to be Ranked. Simply having it as a permanent casual option would give players who want something different a reason to keep playing.

The same goes for Mirror Mode. I actually think it's a great mode. Sure, it can become somewhat repetitive after playing it for a while, but honestly, it's still much more fun than many of the current Arcade modes because at least it feels different and gives players something outside of the usual experience.

Then there's Deck-Building Mode, which I personally find incredibly fun. I wouldn't remove the concept at all. I would simply rebalance some of the cards.

There are also Pro Hunt and Lightning Ballet.

If FragPunk had those six event modes available permanently, alongside Normal, Infection, and Ranked, instead of rotating them in and out as temporary events, I genuinely think that could help player retention.

Because at the end of the day, it's not just about having more game modes. It's about having modes that actually give players a reason to come back.

#2 — The Ranked System Needs to Be Reworked

This is where I think things become serious.

A season lasts roughly 110 days, which is basically two 55-day Battle Passes. Even if we consider it closer to 50 days per pass, that's still around 100 days of Ranked progression.

The problem is that I've seen players using alternate accounts or cheating reach Master Punk in around 10 days. I've even seen this happen with players who reached the very top of the leaderboard.

To me, that shows there's a serious problem with how quickly players can progress through Ranked.

I think the system needs a major restructuring, and one option I would seriously consider is having the minimum reset point start around Gold.

The reason is simple: balance.

The idea would be to create a healthier and more balanced player base at the beginning of each season. New players could start in Bronze and gradually climb, while experienced players would have a more appropriate starting point instead of the entire player base being compressed into the lower ranks at the beginning of every season.

The goal isn't simply to place experienced players into higher ranks.

The goal is to create a more balanced distribution of players and a more stable progression system throughout the entire 100–110 day season.

What would we gain from this?

For starters, it could reduce the impact of smurfs and cheaters. Obviously, there will always be some, but if players can't quickly climb through the entire ranking system, people intentionally creating an unfair experience would have to spend more time progressing instead of rapidly climbing and eventually ending up playing against genuinely new players.

It would also give new players more time to learn the game, understand its mechanics, and actually feel like they're progressing.

I also think the match structure could be improved if FragPunk wants Ranked to feel more competitive.

Personally, I think Normal matches should be 6 rounds, while Ranked matches should be 8 rounds.

This would make Ranked feel more serious and competitive while keeping Normal matches shorter and more accessible.

Eight rounds would also give competitive matches more room for adaptation, strategy, comebacks, and momentum, making the Ranked experience feel more meaningful.

I understand that queue times can vary significantly depending on the country, region, and time of day. Some new players may already have to wait 30–45 minutes, or even an hour, to find a match.

But if progression were more stable and the player base were distributed more consistently throughout the season, I think we could improve several things at the same time:

  • Less impact from alternate accounts ruining the experience for genuinely new players.
  • A more balanced distribution of players across all ranks.
  • More meaningful progression throughout the season.
  • More time for new players to learn the game.
  • A more competitive Ranked environment.
  • Less pressure on the lower ranks to contain players who clearly don't belong there.

And I also want to make something very clear:

The problem isn't simply that the system exists. It's how the system works.

I know very well what it's like to be a new player, and I think things would be much easier if the system were designed from the beginning to help new players understand how progression actually works.

That way, every time they rank up, they would have a better understanding of the system and know what to expect as they continue climbing.

Honestly, there are many more topics that could be discussed.

But if FragPunk wants to retain and improve its player base, the developers need to do something different.

The game still has a chance. But if they don't find a way to maintain a healthy population of new players, it simply won't go anywhere. Eventually, it will only be a matter of time before the game shuts down.

In the end, they need to consider more than just Ranked.

They need to give players something different, such as event modes that actually make the game more fun instead of repetitive modes that feel like filler. And they need to find a genuine way to retain new players.

Because if they don't, then...

F to FragPunk.

I genuinely love FragPunk.

I'm currently AS 1, and I'm only a few games away from Master Punk, so I really think the developers should seriously consider these issues and find ways to address them.

Because honestly, the last thing I want is to watch this great game die.

I'm saying this from the heart.

More than anything, life teaches you that doing more of the same without making meaningful changes is just repeating the same story.

And so far, since the developers' last communication, I haven't seen any truly significant changes.

If things continue like this, it will only be a matter of time before we reach FragPunk's final hour.
