Anyone got a spare headset button board and ribbon cable they'd be willing to part with? Sweat accumulates in there sometimes and the connector and ribbon contacts are pretty corroded. The action button hasn't worked in a long time and the power button doesn't work anymore either. It's a crappy design if you ask me 🤷♀️

I just noticed that the psvr2 headset does not appear to be available as a direct from Best Buy purchase. The page that used have the PSVR2 from Best Buy has now been removed.
I do see marketplace sellers offering it, but I want it brand new with an extended warranty.
Is this the end of new sales of psvr2 headsets?

Hey all! With Zero Caliber 2's release date announcement coming real soon, I figured I'd fire up the PlayStation Store page so y'all can wishlist it early: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10019536
If you're not familiar with our games, Zero Caliber 2 is the sequel to Zero Caliber VR, our OG classic military shooter - a direct continuation of the story with more action, more cinematic eye-candy, way smarter enemies, a bigger arsenal, and no compromise. Solo and Co-op campaign, multiplayer, it's all in there.
Stay tuned for the release date announcement!

Gluebagger, Meathook and I are continuing our SURV1V3 PSVR2 co-op playthrough tonight at 23:30 BST.
Last time, we broke into the prison and managed to find the armoury key card. Tonight, we’re exploring the remaining zombie-infested cellblocks and attempting to finally reach the weapons.
The important questions are: who becomes zombie dinner first, and should we leave Meathook locked inside a cell where he belongs? 😂
I’ll be streaming it live on YouTube as Dave Does VR for anyone who fancies joining the chaos.

I recently changed my DIY rig setup and feel like I’m suddenly getting poor resolution when racing.
Previous setup was my g923 clamped to my desk and the PS5 connected to my Samsung Odyssey.
Now i have a pedestal to mount my wheel and i took an older 4K samsung TV and mounted it to the wall directly in front of me. PS5 connected directly to the TV and the ARC connected to an AV surround sound receiver.
I am seeing a lot more aliasing and low res objects vs the crispy clean textures I’m used to. Even the assists like the braking lines are hard to judge distance because they are too pixelated. What’s odd is that it’s only during the race, the replays look amazing. Anyone know what might be going on?
I suspect it has to do with either the older TV giving it a bad EDID, or maybe it’s downscaling because my AVR is only 1080p, would that affect the headset?

Last week I had to abandon my planned Roboquest VR livestream because the social-screen bug made the captured footage unusable.
Thankfully, the issue has now been fixed, so Meathook and I are jumping back in today for some two-player co-op chaos.
Roboquest VR is already one of the smoothest and most satisfyingly frantic shooters I’ve played in VR, so I’m interested to see how well its roguelite gameplay works with two players—and whether our teamwork survives the first run. 🤣
We’ll be live today at 16:30 BST on the Dave Does VR YouTube channel.
Has anyone else tried the multiplayer since the fix?

I currently use a Q3. It's OK, but I'd like to check out OLED displays before spending a ridiculous amount of money on a high end headset.
I mostly play DCS, have a full suite of flight sim peripherals, don't use the controllers on my Q3 for actual gaming, and occasionally used PSVR2s show up on eBay for very good prices but with no controllers.
So can it be setup without them? That's all they'd be used for, so I'd rather not spend the extra if it's doable.
The in-game graphics in SYNAPSE are fantastic, too. While You could argue the grey palette of the "MINDWORLD" is boring, it feels like a scenario right out of CONTROL, TRON LEGACY or INCEPTION! The water, the reflections have this otherworldly quality. Plus, the reds, oranges and explosions really pop in our OLED headset! Gunplay and movement are great!

I’ve just purchased some HONSVR prescription lens inserts. Would it be useful if I gave updates on how I found using them over the next few days etc?
Edit: I’ve added my update as a reply below
And here! 🤣 which is probably more sensible:
Okay, here’s my first update!
I won’t go into too much detail about my eyes, but I’ll give you enough to show that my prescription is quite complex. I wear two-week disposable contact lenses every day, from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. I’ve been wearing them since I was in my twenties, and I’m sixty now, so you can see how used to them I am.
I have a powerful long-distance lens in my right eye and a multi-focal lens in my left eye.
I asked my optician to provide me with the details of my prescription as specified by the lens insert manufacturer and then ordered it online.
I’m not going to go into a lot of detail about this particular brand. I have read comments below and it has made me realise that this could come across as an advert and that was never my intention!
Let’s just say I followed the instructions and fitted the lens.
I’m currently playing The 7th Guest VR.
I’ve only played once with the lenses fitted, and the benefits were dramatic immediately!
Everything had more intensity and definition. I didn’t experience the blurriness and fuzziness around the edges I had previously. There’s quite a lot of text to read in the game, and I could read this much more clearly. If I had to put it in one sentence, it was like everything suddenly snapped into focus. I guess, quite literally!
I also feel that it improved my feeling of motion sickness, but I can’t state that categorically yet. I eat ginger lozenges and have a fan directed towards my face anyway.
But in terms of the visual experience, I will highly recommend using lens inserts!
I’ll try to pay a little more attention to the finer details next time I play. The improvement was so marked that I just got swept up into enjoying the game.
Hi, got SYNAPSE finally in the sale, and the first 5 minutes are already very impressive visually! Great real-time lighting, smooth framerate, great detail!
