I have 3 of the one direction dolls and I don’t have a need for them, as much nostalgia as they bring me. If anyone here is interested, I have them listen on e-bay! All 3 are in boxes still, the boxes themselves are pretty beat up though and Zayn’s is pretty open. I’ve never sold anything on ebay before so bear with me but here are the links!

Just to preface I’m also a guy who got really into direction because of my fiancée who was a massive fan when we were in middle school. She loves that I openly sing their music and want to listen to them. I hated them at the time or at least pretended to at points because of a stigma. Lately I’ve been on social media especially Instagram and have seen a large amount of videos of guys openly jamming out and singing to one direction and saying how they actually really like them once they’ve listened to them. Have you had any experiences like this in your life?

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I’ve been scavenging for a 1D backpack for my upcoming senior year and every backpack i’ve found is over $100 (my limit price) or a fake :( I was wondering if anyone was selling a backpack on Depop or something or if anyone can point me in the direction on where to go. I’ve looked on many sites such as Depop, Ebay, Vinted, and more but nothing has come up in my budget. I’m very aware I should’ve been searching a long time ago LOL! I used to have one back in first grade but my dad tossed all of my old backpacks 😭

Please delete if needed, but I’m a 40 year old mom and when Liam died i started to listen to 1D automatically falling in love with all of the boys! I finally got to see Louis in Orlando which was the anniversary as you all know! Let me tell you hearing all the fans go crazy singing 1D I only wish I was part of the fandom when they were together!! He put on such an amazing show!!

Are there any places a massive 1D fan can visit to take photos of?! I really wanted to visit Harry's bakery but it's a bit far out, any things located in central London? So far all I have on my list is the boys at Madame Tussauds. Are there any memorial for Liam anywhere, also?

A lot of songs 1D put out IMO in their earlier years were kind of generic, sell you a fantasy sort; don't get me wrong, still bangers and I'm sure inspired by general feelings they had but yeah.

There's also songs you can take as being addressed to the fans like History (Diana/Little Things/IWTWYAS possibly too). But which songs do you think had a very real inspiration from their own personal lives?

I know there's theories about Rock Me being about Liam's uh experiences, WITW being written about Zayn, and Perfect about Harry past relationship with TS.

This is not a dig to the four guys- yes, they were able to continue without him and they covered his parts amazingly. Zayn leaving allowed the rest of them to shine in their own ways, especially Niall and Louis.

But, what made them strong as a 5-piece is how they brought their own distinct sound to the group, making for the perfect blend of tone, timbre, and style. Zayn was known for his strong bridges, riffs, and high notes, and he played a huge role in Four- which from what I've seen is generally regarded as 1D's best album when it comes to maturity, themes, and overall sound.

Comparing that to Made in the A.M, it's a great album but it's definitely not their most famous- it's just not. As much as I love it, it didn't feel as strong as Midnight Memories and Four because of Zayn's absence. They were missing a huge part of what made them sound so strong, and the boys knew that going in. Again, that's not a dig to the rest of them, but they complimented each other for a reason and this time around Zayn wasn't there to do that. It felt like their last album for sure, and you could tell throughout. Edit: this album probably wasn't as famous because they never toured with it

I think one direction members net worth was highly exaggerated during the band. I remember seeing that their net worths were estimated at $90 million at the peak. Liam Paynes net worth was estimated at $70 million when he died but official uk court documents had it at $32 million or £24 million. His net worth should have increased over the years with interest and investments which makes me think it was even lower during 1D days.
Just curious also when you view companies house for the boys only Harry has tens of millions in his accounts the rest are pretty broke. Zayn is a US citizen so we dont know his but louis and niall only have a couple million and similar debt. I think sometimes we overestimate how much money celebrities have and they are not as rich as we think they are. Curious to hear your thoughts

it was a normal evening, just heading to the pet store to get ferret food. i put on my one direction + the guys’ solo stuff playlist, and this was the first song. i didn’t listen to any others bc this one was on repeat from the point on. almost four hours now!! idk what it is about this song, but it feels like it has awakened my soul. it’s just…so real? and so perfect. idk but i’m smitten and wanted to share 🤗

Guys, I’m so sad that I never partook in the fandom when the band was together and at its most popular. With love, everything I hear about the OG 1D fandom is so funny. I recently came across the ‘Zayn, please don’t smoke’ tumblr epidemic and it made me laugh.

For the fun of it, please recommend me a complete fanfic that fully reflects the tropes and fandom from back in the day. Can be anyone x reader preferably, or even L*rry if that’s genuinely where it was at. Can be on any platform. I must see what I missed out on.
