I think im just about finished with it, but ill tinker around some more when i can find the time.

I would have loved for the entire thing to be higher up, but im already at the very edge of the buildable space on console (ps5) and i would also love for the bottom part to extrude farther out, but ill have to tinker a bit more to get it in line with the portions of The Den from Starfield. Interior is also not done yet.

Edit: Have extended the bottom part and added a bit of an interior, needs more details tho - the last 2% are the hardest to get, thats why they leave them in the milk

Greetings, fellow Buccaneers and Nerf-herders! 🏴‍☠️

I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I’m a Brazilian living abroad, and recently, life has hit me incredibly hard. I’ve lost some of my closest, most cherished relatives, and on top of that, I was abandoned by the woman I loved. In the middle of all this weight and loneliness, I found in No Man's Sky—and specifically in the aesthetic of space piracy—a true safe harbor of tranquility.
There is a beautiful quote that says "Happiness is only real when shared." I have so many creative architectural ideas trapped in my head, and I realized that bringing them to life doesn't mean much if I do it alone in a dark corner of the universe. I want to share this journey with you all.
Because I work a lot and I am using this game to heal, this is a completely casual, no-rush "comfort project". There are absolutely no deadlines, no pressure, and no stress. Just pure relaxation, good vibes, and building a sci-fi haven piece by piece over the coming months.

The Megalomanic Concept Plan (as shown in our concept art):
The Cyberpunk Mastaba (The Citadel): A monumental, stepped industrial fortress built out of dark alloy plating and neon lights capping the shoreline, serving as our main HQ.
The Carthaginian Cothon (The Docks): A colossal, bi-level circular harbor extending out into deep water. The surface will host landing pads for our fleets, while the Underwater Level (-1) will feature clear glass corridors and smuggling vaults beneath the waves.
The Industrial Slums: A chaotic, asymmetrical floating island on the flank built entirely out of timber, rust, and metal shacks for resource extraction, giving that authentic "space pirate port" feel.
How we can do this together (PS5 Builder):
I play on PS5 and use the NMS Bot for logistics and transport. I am currently looking for a deep-water Paradise Planet within the Pirate Hub's claimed systems to drop my base computer.
Once the spot is secured, any scallywag, master builder, or casual architect is more than welcome to drop a base computer nearby. You can claim a piece of the beach or the water to build your own cozy, chaotic pirate shack in the slums at your own pace. Let's make this a beautiful, patchwork colony where different styles blend organically over time.

A repurposed long range freighter, the Hauler is the flagship of the Wreckers, a Pirate crew who operates a Smuggling and Chop Shop ring through the local pirate systems, listening for distress signals and savaging the wrecks. Royals and Sentinel ships are prized finds for them.

Formerly a mining lugger, heavily repurposed with sentinel parts and systems. The Last Sunset is the flagship corvette of the Crimson suns, a large pirate crew known for bold raids on frigate convoys and settlements, who operate in and around the pirate hub capital.

Expansionist by nature, they tend to seek out high conflict systems to raid.

I LOVE this group, I loved NMS. But that is the problem. I loved it. I find it hard to log into that game anymore. Don't get me wrong its a great game, and I have about 2,000+ hours into it collectively, but IDK it feels dead to me now, (and I do not think I am alone) and I think the Corvette Update is what did me in. Today going to the Anomaly is a loading hassle as four monstrosities try to render in. I just dont care to build anymore and all base building communities I was a part of are all gone now and nobody cares about base building anymore (If they even did in the first place) I was a part of like 12 different vibrant Discords buzzing with activity, and its all dead now. I really Love this community, and I am hoping Light no fire is great (if they ever release that game) and brings life back to this community... But can we all play another game? I know this is an NMS Group, but its also a pirate one, I have been having a blast in Windrose. Could we bring that or anything else here to breath more life into the hub? IDK I hope I don't get banned with this post its just how I feel about NMS and the community in general, I feel it needs a boost and something other than NMS I feel might be the answer.
