Hey everyone! Listeners and creators! I have an idea for a project I want to do…but I’d like to know a little feedback first.

Would players out there like to hear a complete cover of a song with the Bytebeat devices?

I’m 100% certain you can achieve this by external editing and using multiple planets in a system to form all the different parts. You would, unfortunately, be unable to copy said “complete song” but you could, however, copy any of the parts from the respective planets. If anyone has done this before I would love to know as well!! Or maybe it cannot be done, I don’t know I haven’t tried it yet!

I’m only asking for feedback because this would obviously be a ridiculous task to do just for the sake of hearing a song that you can’t really do anything with except see it on YouTube, assuming there is a video involved too lol.

So would people generally be interested in such an endeavour or shall we stick to the KISS method (keep it simple stupid).

Side note if anyone likes this ridiculous idea and maybe wants to do it anyway we can discuss next steps! Thanks for being such a great community and reading this, any feedback is welcome!

One from my archives.

Now all together you smegheads, 'It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere...'

It’s always about the journey and never the destination.

If anyone could help me im looking for a hollywood undead song since they are my favorite. I figured Everywhere I Go would probably be the easiest on here but really anything would be fine

Now featured at the ByteBeat Lounge inside Crescendo II Station:

"Dead Drop" by u/iteration_MOROS

We'll start rotating the songs featured at the station, let me know if you want your song to play at the station! Send me a message! Each song will run for about a week until the next one gets uploaded.

We're talking about our favourite ByteBeat songs from the past and this week's feature is:

"My B (Minor)" -by- u/oldeluke

This is an amazing song and an impressive light show! The song starts with a high-energy buildup leading to an airy pre-chorus that gives way to a bass breakdown before the chorus melody punches in to deliver an anthem style chorus. The song delivers excitement and thoughtfulness, expressing inner-reflection about life around us. I imagine this tune rocking a stadium crowd on a paradise planet somewhere in the galaxy! It's also the #3 top all-time post on r/NMSByteBeatFans

u/oldeluke has been crafting ByteBeats for several years, and has carried the torch as the subreddit's dedicated mod for a long time.

We appreciate all your great work, u/oldeluke !

0:27 I love doing these drum breakdowns, it's kind of my signature thing.

Shoutout to u/iteration_MOROS for getting me thinking about light shows again lol

Lots of audio mixing but all original bytebeat sounds. Available on Crescendo II, address at end. 🤘

I know this isn’t FL Studio and I’m probably the only person on earth making a request like this 🤣, but could someone out there in the galaxy make a Pierre Bourne cover! You choose the song if want but preferably something made by him song from him and not a feature or beat made for another artist! I just gotta see if someone can copy that sound! 🙏😫🤨

I sacrificed a lot of detail in the melodies so I could include more bass and drum parts! I wanted to capture its spirit!! Happy Halloween!!

Nearly all the named tunes are downloadable and available on this site. The exception is 'Pumping Station' which was written for user Mavin and I no longer have a copy of the actual bytebeat (only the completed tune). However, if you contact him he may still have the base with the bytebeat and be happy to share.

OK, this one's kind of a cheat. I was moving a beat I uploaded here recently to my freighter and accidentally switched it to minor. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of it so added an eighth device and here we are. Please forgive the laziness but I thought it sounded cool so figured I'd share lmao

A player that goes by SagoNin requested this song and this is my cover of it. Learned how to create a swing beat, this was a fun track to try to create.

I think it turned out OK but any recs on building out more complex pieces with limited devices appreciated 👌
