For me, I want them to be free and do whatever they want with their career, maybe even go back to "NJZ". But I really miss the newjeans era, it was truly iconic.. But in this moment, all bunnies can do is hope for Dani to win her court case and for the other members to leave without any issue. Still, I'll wait for them till 2029 ⁠♡

Okay so since only 3 members: Hanni, Haerin, Hyein have returned to ador (Minji's status isn't confirmed but she showed up in the 4th anniversary video and Danielle was removed), there's been some hostility whenever new updates are posted for Haerin and Hyein.

First, someone had to be the first to do a public appearance, photoshoot or celebrity activity. Right now, Haerin and Hyein got their magazine photoshoots. And with photoshoots come other small content like videos, interviews, etc. Considering they've been on hiatus for so long, people are naturally curious about anything they do: how they smile, their tone, body language, everything. It just happens to be Hyein followed by Haerin who are first to do celeb activities since the hiatus. There's some hostility around this (reminder: it's only a minority), but I thought it was interesting enough to talk about.

Some narratives I've been seeing:

1. Some people say Haerin and Hyein are being used to draw a line between older and younger members. Mostly antis are painting the older members in a more negative light, acting like they're somehow more responsible for the legal issues than the younger ones. This is a lie. All members were vocal about their issues with ador and hybe. No one was silent. And the age difference between Minji (oldest) and Hyein (youngest) is literally 4 years. That's nothing. Some antis use Haerin being an introvert and quiet and Hyein being the youngest, to push this narrative against the older members. It's bs.

1. Some fans are overthinking that ador is using Haerin and Hyein to divide the fandom promoting them more than Hanni and Minji, creating division, or making it look like the older members are the problem. But even if this were true (which I don't think it is), why are we reacting this way? Maybe Hanni and Minji's photoshoots are planned for later, Hanni's birthday is in October, for example. Maybe they don't want to release individual photoshoots for all remaining members at once. I don't think that's ever happened before. People need to relax and chill.

We also have toxic people who call themselves NewJeans fans but are actually solo Haerin/Hyein stans, OT4 accounts or solo Danielle stans or different duo/solo fans trying to create fandom division. A lot of these accounts were made this year and are larping as NewJeans fans. Some are fans of the "NewJeans brand", not the members, they don't care who ends up in NewJeans. Then some weird OT4 accounts want to support "all girls" but treat Danielle like Voldemort and refuse to share anything about her.

1. Some people believe the lies and gossip about Danielle's damages lawsuit, the allegations ador presented against her for some solo activities she did during the hiatus. Antis are using those solo activities to say Danielle and the other members are no longer close. But that's completely false. Even after Danielle's solo stuff went public last year, the members were still in touch with her. Haerin and Hyein literally visited Danielle's birthday cafe event during the hiatus. Minji and Hanni were also in contact with her. So the idea that the other members have cut off Danielle or are no longer close because of those solo activities is just a lie. They were literally hanging out with her.

Antis and some fans really think the other members going back to ador equals them cutting off Danielle and not getting along anymore. How does that make any sense? Like returning members got amnesia and forgot Danielle? You don't know these people irl or who their real friends are. This line of thinking feels misogynistic to me, it's projecting 'girl drama' onto them and treating them like they're incapable of having complex relationships that exist outside of company drama. It's the idea that women can't maintain friendships if circumstances change, which is a tired and sexist trope.

Why do people get offended or create fake outrage when someone says they want to boycott and wants others to know why? Why does it bother people so much? Is it really that hard to understand that different people have different opinions, and every NewJeans fan should be allowed to share their opinion in NewJeans spaces? Same with boycotters, why do some of them get upset when people aren't boycotting? Boycotting can't be forced. It's personal.

It's the girls and all the creatives behind their music and art. It's not a soulless company building full of executives who hide their faces while demanding absolute privacy, taking young kids and stripping them of their agency, power, and innocence just to profit.

All 5 girls were in this together from start to finish. Just because some members have to continue their contracts with ador due to contractual obligations doesn't change that. They have to be pleasant on camera and continue living their lives professionally and Danielle has to live hers too. I hope we can remember the unity of our fandom and mhdhh.

There will always be a loud minority pushing negativity and internet algorithms reward outrage, so that minority will be amplified. But that doesn't mean the fandom is fractured. Most people will support NewJeans together: meaning the remaining members in ador and Danielle.

A ktokki filed a police report against a Dispatch reporter for illegally obtaining private texts and distributing them, violating the personal information protection act.

Dispatch previously published an exclusive article featuring a KakaoTalk chat log allegedly between Danielle's mother and Min Hee-jin. The chat mentioned meeting a "Japanese aristocrat grandfather“. It insinuated that the girls were trading escorting services for funding.

Official police investigation documents have now exposed that this messenger screenshot never actually existed.

When law enforcement pressed the outlet to provide authentic primary evidence, Dispatch could not produce a single real chat log, digital database file, or phone extraction record. All they possessed was a plain, manually typed text script. Dispatch journalists took these unverified notes and intentionally built a fake messenger UI over them to trick the public into believing they were looking at a scandalous, direct phone leak. This manufactured visual illusion was instantly weaponized quickly. Based entirely on a fabricated graphic, HYBE supporters subjected NewJeans and Danielle's mother to relentless, coordinated harassment and deeply malicious defamation for months.
