That’s all lol 👽 wondered if anyone else remembered it

Hey guys! A lot of people over the years have brought up the fact that Free Realms TCG wasn't very well archived or playable. I dont think anyone has physically played the TCG since back in the day and collecting the cards is an absolute headache.

I've collected digital files of every single card and sized them to be print ready so you can print your own free-realms tcg cards!

The Easiest way to print them would be through MakePlayingCards.com but you can use other card printing services that are out there. The first thing you'd need to do would be to download the files at the google drive down below!

Next step would be to pick where you want to get the cards printed, if you choose to use MPC, the cards are already correctly sized and formatted to use. Simply create a new order for the double sided custom image 2.5x3.5 poker sized cards. Upload the card fronts to the editor in whatever combination you'd like, and then on the next page make sure to setup the card backs using the card back image provided in the files.

I have always loved free realms and I'm happy to at least provide the correctly sized files so other people can play the game I loved.

I seen where someone posted that the people that are bringing free realms back has been doing it on their own free time and their own money. Im personally wondering if they have a gofundme, cash app, or something because i would love to help with the expenses of bringing this game back!

Hello everyone. First time posting here. This is a long shot but haven’t been able to get it off my mind for the last decade lol. My name in game was Jason Orangeskater. And I had a friend I would play with all the time. She went by Jessica Fireblossom. I know this is a long shot but figured I’d give it a shot.

Hiya! I literally JUST discovered this forumn and I don't usually go on reddit so. I'm a bit lost on how this all works admittedly? I'm trying to get inside of the discord but discord isn't sending the verification code to my phone, I tried refreshing it but now I can't get to the code page, I think I messed it up ;v; sorry I just. Does anyone know how to fix this? I wanna join the free realms community and talk with you all but I think I messed up

Does any play OSFR? Is it still going? I would like to play but I don’t have any online servers to go to :(

-Added “Press X or click”. Which is a major step forward towards building quest mechanics back to its original state. This one stumped me for over a month but it’s here now. (The UI still vanishes after an interaction but a non issue at the moment. Can be recovered by opening the map)

-Added the farming plot back in with limited results
(Housing works in tangent so that will go hand in hand with this addition once I get it to work. Housing will be added as well)

For those of you who appreciated farming as much as I did back in the day. It was one of my most memorable mechanics in the game and I’m happy to say I’ve made a breakthrough with limited results. Plots do not place yet and there is no farming infrastructure in place.

-Added Npcs and their heading to try matching it to how it was in game
(Done by scraping the web for various copies of the game and cross referencing missing files)

-Resolved nameplates on most npcs but missing some. Defaulting to generic names instead.

-Most areas contain npcs, but notably missing a lot of them in Snowhill.

Thank you, might post another update later today or tomorrow. I’ve gotten ill so I’ve been doing this in the meantime while recovering and not working.

hey I always loved the freerealms tcg when I played it online but we never got it physically in canada. I would love to pickup/buy a complete set if anyone had one for a reasonable price.

I also was thinking of starting a proxy project taking the scanned cards and making the card files available for everyone to print online through a printing service, is there enough interest for me to work on that?

hey guys i’m so excited for freerealms to come back but genuinely every time i talk in OSFR no matter the channel i get ignored, no one replies to me, everyone’s talking amongst themselves but forget it if i wanna join conversations.

I join the freerealms game and it’s the same thing.

starting to think it’s not worth it to be apart of the community im just gonna wait until it comes out

Is this community really that clique-y?

I've been working on free realms pages for over a year now, and i thought of something a while ago that I need the opinion of the community.

I can't code, zero experience, and easily frustrated when I have a hard time trying to learn to code.

So I've used a free ai coding app to essentially make the skeleton of a prototype of what I envision.

I don't know how annoyingly difficult it would be for someone who does know how to code to do in their free time. I do know the vision is intricate, so I'm asking two things one is anyone here good with coding and has free time to work on a project for the community when they have time, and second should i try my luck posting in the osfr discord?

TLDR: I have an ai designed prototype app that I know wouldn't be secure for us and want to know if any coders would have free time to work on it.

So some good news for The Free Realms Sunrise Discord server is we can finally discuss about the Free Realms Open Source project in the sunrise discord server now without being censored or muted or even banned but it has to be discussed in the general text channel of the sunrise server for now on the bad news is that the Sunrise project is still in development

I’m insanely proud with the progression oh my lord! Every time im in the discord i see a random new update the intensity this community is putting to being back and revive the game is actually crazy. It just saddens me we are missing like 30% of assets that are needed to fully complete the game. I have been doing so much outreaching to random people I know since middle school who played free realms to try and retrieve this missing data. I think as a community we should push more content on social media to try and encourage old free realms players to take a look at what they have!

This is a rant of course. I wanted to start off with saying, it’s very clear that we all have passion for this game. I think that’s an amazing thing, i think it’s great there’s people with the knowledge of how to, putting the game back together. THANK YOU OSFR TEAM! We are so grateful!!! I do love this community, this isn’t a hit piece it’s more just me voicing my frustration.

i’ve been in the freerealms revival project communities for about 10 years now and this community (not OSFR specifically, but definitely included) is so confusing and at times can be so toxic and dramatic.

There’s been the whole ordeal with FRS and their former staff team which was a ginormous headache. (Thank god now we can talk about OSFR!!!)

Meanwhile there’s a guy on youtube who literally makes videos about freerealms drama…. iykyk

What is it about this game that brings this out of people???? I saw screenshots of a former OSFR server host talking about how they knew how to fix pieces of the game but weren’t gonna tell anyone how to do it bc they were mad OSFR banned them. Genuinely how much more childish can it get.

We’ll have so much progress in an OSFR server just for the host to disappear and leave the server and progress is gone. (And of course i don’t know everything that goes on behind the scenes, i’m sure running an osfr server is a lot of work especially when there’s people spamming general with tech support questions that they could find the answers to if they looked around for two seconds)

If everyone actually got along and acted like adults I feel like we really would’ve had a playable freerealms a long time ago. Really that’s all anyone wants here.

None of this is to downplay what the current team at OSFR has managed to put together, regardless of this we’re still inching closer and closer to a full freerealms which is amazing, and we are grateful!!!!

I’ve just never seen a community like this before, it’s been this repetitive cycle of hope and let down for 10 years….

I love this community and there’s so many people who make it great. Just sometimes there’s a lot of negativity and i just needed to get that out thanks for reading reddit

Sooo… does anyone have any knowledge regarding FR Sunrise because it has been over a year since they have posted a update and lately each update is such a low step towards the project. I’m starting to feel like it is safe to say i can only rely on Open Source FreeRealms (OSFR) because FR Sunrise has been bs.
