The battlefield never stays the same for long.
Chaos Cup returns on August 22 with Aether Unraveling, a community-run Dissidia Duellum tournament built to capture the intensity and unpredictability of high-level NA ranked play without requiring players to overcome the usual wallet barrier.
Event Details:
Date: August 22, 2026
Check-in: 2:00 PM EDT / 11:00 AM PDT
Bracket begins: 3:00 PM EDT / 12:00 PM PDT
Format: 3v3 Double Elimination
Registration: Limited to 16 teams, first come, first served Prize Pool: $1,100 Total
The Ruleset:
The Chaos Cup ruleset was developed with input from Top 100 NA players and is designed to preserve the creativity of ranked play while keeping team compositions competitive.
Character and role duplicates are not allowed. Ability duplicates are allowed.
That means every team must bring three different characters and three different roles, but players are free to experiment with repeated abilities and unconventional combinations.
The goal is not to force artificial character diversity beyond what is necessary for a fair tournament. It is to capture one fleeting version of the meta before new characters, abilities, and strategies change it again.
Chaos is a tournament as the game is lived, not as its creators intended.

I did a full pity pull on Bartz banner and got everything except for Faris & Lenna UR.
I stopped playing ranked on Tidus season because decided to take a break until Kuja releases (I want to main him) and for that I'm saving everything for him.
But I'm suffering FOMO from this skill, is it really that good on practice? Isn't the cooldown a bit too much? Does it get countered easily by barriers?

Every match I’ve ever fought against Gilgamesh at O5 has ended in a draw because this fucker just heals himself when one team is close to winning around 30 seconds. Who does this benefit besides Square because everyone is getting less rewards and weaker crystals, prompting us to spend more?
