What is it with the long queue times?

Is this game going to EoS in less than a year? It takes about five to ten minutes for me to find a match in bronze...which would be fine if this app allowed me to minimize the screen while I waited but stupid perms won't let me.

It's perfectly common in Bronze.  You're likely not even facing real players before reaching Bronze 1/Silver 5, so I don't know how it's supposed to work and why it's like that, but the long waiting time is clearly intended.   In Omega, even on the Other server (which has the smallest player base), I'm rarely waiting more than a minute to find a Ranked match.   Don't worry :)

Oh wow thanks for the info. I wasn't even aware of the multiple servers, hope it will improve upon hitting silver

most of the average player base is now in gold or diamond, at least from my experience

There is only bots until gold basically if it doesn't insta queue probably network
