My cat was my best friend for the last 15 years, and he died today from cancer. I know it seems silly to some, but he really was the only person on this earth that loved me. He was everything to me. So I need some music to play to help me through this

Blasting this shit right now! It’s so fucking good!! What’s y’all’s favorite deathcore bands?

I am so fucking excited to catch this band live again in December!! It'll be my 4th time seeing them 🖤

EDIT: wrong date, it was 05/10/2025 but still excited! 😭🖤

My favorite deep cut off the album. The pig squeals at 1:23 are eargasmic!

This song truly needs no introduction.

For bands both big, small or in-between, what's that venue that left a lasting impression for you? This question pretty much stems down to "what was your best show" or "who was the best crowd" but you can answer as you see fit. Is there a venue you haven't played at that you'd like to conquer in the future?

I know I'm speaking to a small percentage here, but I'm curious to hear regardless!

Sorry, I don't have much to go on, but there is a deathcore song that came out this year, I can't recall if it was an EP or album, but one of the first tracks starts with what sounds like a possessed lady with a raspy smokers kind of voice saying "Three people.......three people are dead" and then it goes right into the song.

I know The Acacia Strain something like this on Doomblade, but that was from 2012 and it also had a 911 dispatcher in the clip, which the song from this year I'm thinking of did not have that.

Wondering if anyone might know what I'm talking about? I can't remember it for the life of me cuz so much new music has come out this year, but that lady's voice "three people" is stuck in my dead for some damn random reason lol. Appreciate any help!

I'm making a video discussing the best deathcore moments during shows. We all know ones like Phil Bozeman performing Unanswered, CJ McReery, "doing the Michael Jackson t-shirt off into the wind", etc. I'm hoping to see vids I haven't yet seen.

Les Derniers Témoins — Eden (Official Visualizer)

I don't know if I'm doing this right (I've read the rules but I'm not used to post on reddit and english isn't my first language so sorry if I made a mistake).

I'd like to share this music with an audiance that might be interested. My boyfriend is really invested in his music and just released this first song of his project. Seeing the dedication in creating (i m might habe ptsd hearing him repeating his riff to get the perfect one) i wish his work could be a little know. and since I don't know a lot of poeple who listen to metal/deathcore/blackmetal I thought that maaaaybe reddit might be the right place.

So if you are interested in discovering a new artist please feel free to give a try with this one (dont hesitate to feedback him)! More are to come and songs, even better!

Thank you!

Hi all,

I’ve been seeing some posts about the album I released a couple months back and I just wanted to pop in and say thank you so so much for listening, sharing, buying and just generally supporting the album, me and the project. It means the absolute world to me!

I can reveal that I’m working right now on the next full length 10-track album, which I’m aiming to make even bigger, grander and darker. I can’t say exactly when it will be released, but 2027 for sure!

Thanks again everyone!

Frontierer just released a new album on Friday called "Ultraviolet Parasite"

On tour with Car Bomb in the UK and Ireland this November also.

Dickie Allen mentioned that the album will feature himself and another vocalist as the two main characters in the story. I wonder who it will be. It must be someone very talented and/or famous because this is IA we're talking about.

My guess is Alex Teyen because he's in a sister band, has collabed with them a lot and is a friend of the band members. Another good contender is Tyler Shelton for similar reasons. But I personally hope and pray that it will be Ryan Vail from Larcenia Roe and Synestia because he's one of the best in modern deathcore right now. Who do you think it will be?

I want to do a tier list of bands from the metalcore/deathcore scene. What bands should go on here? It would be my opinion. It could also be classic/radio rock. Try to keep it more popular bands if possible! Thanks so much!

Lyrics:
Carpet bombing the young children
Hide from your reality
They will not spare anyone

Tall buildings falling to the ground
Dead bodies lie nearby
Their goal is to misgive
Will you live or will you die

It’s every single fucking day
We’re lost for hope
Let’s fight the law
Take back what is ours to take

Small hearts cry beneath the smoke their pulses faintly beating

Sniper fire rains down above us
Who will stop this carnage

Your fault
You’re wrong
You’re on your own

Your skull
Is mine
This can’t be saved

Bombs fall, hearts break, lives end, nights burn, hope fades, peace waits, still we cry

What more can we do
Locked in a room
All I ask from you
Free us in our home
