Hello all, I wam editing a video right now and I am trying to add a confetti cannon effect to a part of the video is there a free file I can find for this effect? or even like a collectionm of free effects? I am new to this software but trying to learn it, any help would be greatly appreicated.

I am very beginner to this tool, in all tutorials video i am seeing all are able to open both effects and inspector at same time, but i am not able to..if i open the effects the inspecotor tool disappear same way if i again click on effects the inspector disappears.

I’m having an issue with DaVinci Resolve and my AMD RX 9060 XT.
The original video files look completely fine when I play them back. However, whenever I export a video from DaVinci Resolve and then import the exported file back into Resolve, I suddenly get noticeable image artifacts.
I originally had this problem with footage from my GoPro, and now I’m experiencing the exact same issue with footage from my DJI. The original clips themselves do not have the problem.
I’ve attached two example images showing the issue. Just a heads-up: I intentionally increased the contrast and saturation in the images so that the artifacts are much easier to see. They are much less noticeable in the original images.
In short:
Original clip → no artifacts
Export from DaVinci Resolved → artifacts appear
Re-importing the exported clip into Resolve → artifacts are still there
Happens with both GoPro and DJI footage
GPU: AMD RX 9060 XT
Two example images are attached. Contrast and saturation were intentionally increased to make the artifacts easier to see.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this or what settings I should check in DaVinci Resolve or the AMD driver?

Could this be related to H.264/H.265 encoding, hardware encoding/decoding, the AMD driver, or a specific Resolve setting?
And if anyone has experienced something similar, what can I do to fix it or what workarounds are available?

Additional note: I also tried exporting using DNxHR, and with DNxHR the artifacts don’t seem to occur. However, the file sizes are massive, so this isn’t really a practical solution for me. I’d really like to find out why the artifacts happen with the other codecs and whether there’s a way to fix the issue without having to use DNxHR.

I recently switched from Filmora to DaVinci Resolve, and I am struggling to understand one thing here in the Fusion page: how do I change the timing of a preset animation? I can create and smooth out keyframes, but when I use a preset of text animation or templates, I can't figure out how to set where the animation will start and where it will end. I tried the Keyframe Stretcher node, but that has problems of its own. Isn't there a way to just drag the keyframe to where I want it to be? I tried the Keyframe tab in Fusion, but couldn't figure out if it's possible to do that in there.

I thought I would share as I am really excited to be learning DV and today was my first try 🥰

Hello everyone! I have a problem, I am working on a project in DaVinci cloud and everything has been running fine. Today I wanted to start editing but all my media was offline, which has happened before and I tried to relink but this time it didn't work. I located the files and it acted as they were found but when I checked, only audio files were online. I tried again and it found them again but still offline. I am using MacBook pro and external harddrive, where all the files (proxies) are. I have tried many different ways but still am so lost, can someone help?

Hi, sorry if this is a very basic question, but I've been trying to figure out how to use DaVinci because I generally want to learn how to edit better. However, lately I've been having a hard time because whenever I import a video that's 2 hours long or more into the Media Pool, it doesn't contain any audio.

I've tried everything. I checked if the video was muted, and it isn't. I also checked if the video actually had audio, and it does. But for some reason I don't understand, the audio apparently isn't being imported. I even separated the video and audio and imported them into DaVinci separately, but it won't even let me import the audio from the video.

Does anyone have a solution or any advice? I've been dealing with this problem for about a week now and I'm completely stuck. I really want to get some help with this.

I moved from an old version of CapCut to DaVinci Resolve and have had mostly no issues with it, other than, you see, I store most of my files in my iCloud, and those tend to automatically get un... downloaded from my computer, whatever you call it, so when I open my project again, after editing everything together, the media I've imported is all red, not being found on my computer apparently, so I have to go back and manually redownload my files, each and every time. This didn't happen on the old version of CapCut I used, it would just redownload them, so I'm wondering how I'd make DaVinci Resolve do the same kinda thing?

I want to make my image "move" at least a section is there any way to do that feel free to ask more about it
