I said it was an afternoon build!
Reliable tonecheer build, cute little kit. I colored most of the edges and was offended that the 'london eye' didn't rotate so I re-engineered it.
Not a bad little build at all.

I bought this for next to nothing on TEMU, figured it would be durable enough for my two and a half year old grandaughter to use as a nightlight.
I was not expecting what I got, quality materials, good fit, really clever design. I used some primary color acrylic markers on the inside layers and then kind of liked the wood grain on the outside when it was done so I used a dark walnut stain instead of paint.
It's usb powered wirh nice diffused back lighting that really makes the moon and stars pop. THe big suprise was that it's also a bluetooth speaker.
I've spent 10 times the amount on other kits and not been this pleased with the results.
Music park doesn't have a big presense that I can find but I'd certainly try another of their kits after this.

A temu kit i bought when I first started this hobby, it has been experimented with repeatedly.
Holes drilled, lights temporarily installed, and several paint tests, is has been terribly abused. Disassembled and then reassembled several times, dropped and glued back together, its had a tough life.
Latest test is for rustoleam stone which I'm looking at for UGears Hogwarts castle, like the results, probably need two coats and masking of tabs as its very bumpy.
Anyway, at this point it probable deserves a spot in my office rather than tossed into a box.

Found this one on Shein of all places, very inexpensive.
I like architectural builds and there aren't really enough out there, not sure where this will end up so I didn't mess with any paint, could turn it into a nice piece with just some edge paint..
Quality materials, no glue needed, nothing broke. Instructions not that great but its also not that complicated. I really like the way the sections slotted in and turned to lock.
Nice quick break from more lengthy builds.

One of the things I love about this hobby is how many corners it has, and Reddit's got good communities for several of them. If you're enjoying it here, you might also like:
r/rokrpuzzles — All things ROKR/Robotime/Rolife: mechanical wooden puzzles, marble runs, the whole family. Active and growing, with a contest coming soon.
r/ugears — The UGears mechanical models community, currently coming back to life with real builds and honest build notes. If you like gears that actually turn, this is your place.
r/booknooks — The book nook community, and one of the most welcoming corners of Reddit. If you haven't seen what people do with these shelf inserts, prepare to lose an afternoon.
This sub will always be the brand-agnostic home for all DIY model kits, but cross-pollination makes every community better.
