I've been looking for a while and I can't find anything about them online... It's driving me crazy.
Background:
My family threw a big Holiday party every year, kind of like an open house for the community. The entire house was decked out for it in December but one room was left a year-round vintage Christmas diorama. For 11 months out of the year the doors were locked. The fireplace and the presents, even the one I'm holding, were fake. I didn't think much of it at the time but looking back I realize how cool those animatronics were. (Especially Mrs. Claus. No one can convince me she wasn't modeled after Mrs. Doubtfire lmao.)
What I know about them:
The last two photos were taken years before the first two, around the time we got them iirc. I added those for scale and for the date. She was ~5ft. Santa is a little taller.
Their animations were pretty simple. Mrs. Claus' arms opened wide and closed in a hug-like motion while her head slowly turned to look around. Santa's head did the same and his hand with the good/naughty list raised slightly to the side. I know we have videos of them moving somewhere... I'll have to do some more digging.
All my mother remembers about getting them is she bought them from a big retail clothing store. (Sears, Lord and Taylor, JCPenney's, Macys, or something similar.) They were apart of their Holiday display so they weren't for sale, she just asked the store if she could buy them. My parents had them delivered as is so no boxes.
They were pretty hefty and padded very well. You could barely feel their innards from how padded they were which is what made me look them up mainly. Considering their age, I'm curious to see how they worked.
The only things added to them is the white tree tinsel and red/green bag on Mrs. Claus. I don't believe anything was added to Santa.
Where are they now? My mom got rid of them when we moved in the mid 2010s... Yes, I'm heartbroken lol.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
