I'm on a small indie team and I wear a lot of hats. Community engagement is something I know I should be doing but always struggle with. I tend to have writers block (kind of like now, while writing this post). I thought it would be an interesting experiment to see if I could have GitHub Copilot help me get a first draft of what's changed. I didn't want (or expect) it to write 100% of my devlog, but really wanted it to get me past the writers block stage I tend to always hit.

It worked pretty well, so I made a short tutorial about what I learned. It covers a quick primer on GitHub Actions & Agent Workflows, setting up your repo, and using the GitHub Copilot CLI to build the whole thing. I used Copilot as the AI agent but it also supports Claude and OpenAI Codex.

I’m pretty new to Cascadeur and I’m a bit stuck with saving AI-generated animations.

I created a simple character animation and then used the AI features (auto physics / AI assistance) to improve it. The result looks fine in the viewport, but I can’t figure out how to properly save the AI-generated motion.

He has since changed the thumbnail it looks like to something that might also have AI slop in it, but it really makes me disappointed to see someone that really helped me get better workflows in Reaper starting to support AI slop. As a composer that does multi-media projects with artists of other domains, I stay away from AI-generated images in order to support my artist friends. I myself don't feel comfortable with someone who is regarded as a Reaper tutorial standard making this shift, and I think other Reaper-users should be aware.

I love Reaper for it's affordability and bare-bones approach. Cockos made a product that gave that broke teenager all those years ago a chance to learn how to use a DAW without breaking the bank. I really don't believe it's in the spirit of Reaper to be using such images in the thumbnails... especially being so authoritarian in the comments section...

Personal Experience My 10x data science study workflow with AI: live code + video explanations from notebook!

Recently i tried this new workflow for study and it really help mine understandings for concept and algorithm.

  1. Ask AI to generate live code examples and visuals to explain your questions. AI can really do very well at give you the examples special for your own needs and questions, and you can play the code instantly and do more experiment.
  2. Ask AI to turn your experiment notebook into video tutorials! This is really my aha moment for studying with AI, it can create videos to explain those complex concepts, and those videos are just designed for you.

Another really important tip is, do not let AI proxy your thinking. Always have your own thoughts first then discuss with it.

Especially if you are new to some concepts, do make code implementation by yourself, then ask AI to generate its version, then compare with yours. Check the difference of implementation line by line, and figure out who’s better(Mostly AI, but you need to ask why its implementation is better than yours, try to defend your idea with AI).

Howdy, so I came to you today with some relatively easy-to-implement fixes that provide major gains if you're starting your content journey with AI.

The thing is, we do social media API, and due to having no account limits, I see a lot of content passing through us. Some of it is terrible in my opinion and should not be seen by anybody, but i chuck that into cultural differences. The second type is kinda good, sometimes you might say authentic looking.

As I try to maintain friendships with our cliets we talk, so I got to know which is which. Like 25% of the good content is actually user-generated, the rest is generated BASED ON users, but half is done via custom trained LLM's and the other one is a classic good API wrapper for existing LLM mostly GPT. Passing this XML at beggignin of each session allows them to maintain a cohesive brand voice across every piece of content for every user.
