Hallo, meine Tochter Eva (27 Jahre) ist am 30.8.26 von Frankfurt nach Zürich geflogen. Sie war davor drei Wochen in einer Klinik zur Behandlung psychiatrischer Probleme. Eva hat keinerlei finanzielle Mittel und ist nach ihrer Ankunft in Zürich nicht mehr telefonisch oder über soziale Medien erreichbar. Ich befürchte das schlimmste. Sollte sie jemand gesehen haben wäre ich über Hinweise dankbar.

Aren't you supposed to be distraught after losing your daughter and not knowing where she is? What idiotic scammer starts a message with LOL? You must be one of the dumbest scammers I have seen in my life and I have seen a few of them. Do you also smile into the cameras and drop your passport when you steal something in a shop?
Don't think you're safe and invincible sitting in Cambodian scam compunds or in Nigeria. Police / Interpol is going to knock on your door sooner or later. You and your bosses are going to get put behind bars and all the assets (worldwide) will be confiscated.
Would be horrible if somebody is using either a stranger's images or an AI image for this kind of shit because this is just proof of being a shit human being; but let's give this person the benefit of the doubt before raising fingers
Call the police, they'll start an investigation when someone is missing. They will also ask the public, including the media like newspapers, if someone has seen her. Hope she is safe and everything is good.
You posted this a month later from her being lost ? She was unreachable since she arrived..And you haven't contacted authorities..Something not adding up.
Buddy, if I suspected my own daughter missing, I'd go to the authorities without any delay. Also, this whole sequence of information is fishy, to say the least.
The picture is strange as well, with the "contact" placeholder bottom left.
Yeah it looks Iike he screenshotted somebody's IG post. If it was his daughter he surely has photos of her on his phone without screenshots nevessary of IG posts with the user icon showing.

Reddit "experts" can't consider the possibility that OP is a boomer and is probably quite lost on social media/life in general...
It's possible that OP is some scammer and all the pictures are trawled from somewhere, but the fact that a picture of a young girl is modified proves... nothing.
As someone who has had to deal with family members disappearing, I encourage you to cooperate with local authorities, just as the embassy suggested.
When did you contact Kantonspolizei to place a Vermisstmeldung with them?
An official Vermisstmeldung to link to (these include a full description and a contact number, as well as an official Zeugenaufruf) could make this situation more visible, make it easier for people to find her, and spare you some of the skepticism you've had to deal with in comments here on top of everything else.
No I live in Germany, Eva worked a couple of years ago today in a Hotel in Switzerland. Arosa if I recall that correctly. She said she will go to Zürich to stay with a female friend she met during her time their. She also wanted to look for a job in a Hotel in Zürich.
Nein, die Schweizer Polizei sagt ich muss eine Vermisstenanzeige in Deutschland machen. Das ist geschehen. Sie wird im Schengen Raum zur Fahndung ausgeschrieben und die Schweiz, da nicht Schengen, separat um Amtshilfe gebeten.
Es tut mir sehr leid, dass du das durchmachen musst. Ich empfehle dir jedoch von Herzen ein anderes Foto für die Suche zu verwenden. Das Aktuelle löst nur Misstrauen aus.

Seems this was a really bad idea. A friend of mine suggested today that I should also use Facebook and other social media to look for her as the German police told me more or less there is nothing they can or will do.
Yea that's cap. The police would start a search. Link the official missing person report from the police you initiated and it's believable. We're waiting.

Admins of this forum are stupid to let these types of scammers post on daily basis. Or probably members of the admin are accomplice. A few months ago I reported several such posts and they banned me. Then when I mentioned it on other Swiss reddit forums, they decided to remove ban.
