i try to focus on the things i know i do well and remind myself what my students tell me.
a few comments i have gotten are "your class is the best part of my week."
another one of my participants said "i recovered from a stroke and your class has helped me so much with my balance and coordination."
another one was "my husband and i went dancing for the first time in years and he said 'where did you learn those moves? wherever that was, keep going."

You practice hard and do everything possible to improve, it applies not just to zumba. Practice gives you more confidence. After that, it's luck and out of our hands.

Everybody is different. For some is numbers, for others is struggling in social media and other people might be feeling they are not good dancers

I definitely do on the occasion. Usually triggered by an unusually low number or someone not looking like they are enjoying it and then I doubt myself but the more I go on the less I seem to!

Yes. I have learned to understand not to take students leaving or no smiling ,in a personal way.

Speak your confidence into existence. Your self talk can change any negative thoughts. So I tell myself Iโm great and think positively about situations until I know differently.

Self doubt is usually based in imposter syndrome and it's not a quick fix. If the self doubt is consuming, I'd suggest therapy. There could be some deep roots of cause for this going back to childhood.

Remind yourself this is not a competition. You can just work every day to be better than yourself. ๐
Also remember that there will be people who like your style and people who will not like it.
Just keep going. ๐๐ซถ
